I was hoping you kind people could give me some suggestions.
We have a large layover after getting off our cruise at Yokohama at 9am and flying out 10pm that night.
We are traveling with a 6 year old so I was thinking of getting a room at hotel with pool…a little playtime and rest before a long haul flight. Only issue is im not really sure if grabbing a hotel at Yokohama, Tokyo or the near Haneda would be best.
Any thoughts? Suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Im a spiced rum drinker too--- they do have Captain Morgan's for sure and I have seen some Kracken a few times.
As much as I loved spiced rum, I've been switching some to Ciroc vodka. Doubt if they will have that though.
Awesome. sounds like I will be safe

Any rum drinkers out there that know if RCCL carries spiced rums? Captain Morgans Spiced etc etc.
I have a medical condition and my doctor says i should have at least 5 spiced rums a day while cruising.

Great review. What did you think of the CP Balconies?

Howdy. Does anyone know if they still do a Blanco / Gatsby party on a three night Australia Day cruise.?
-
Has anyone been on a P&O Australia Day cruise? Has anyone been a P&O moored at the Athol Buoy in Sydney Harbour?
Interested to know what the experience was like….could you see the fireworks etc etc
Appreciate any feedback

I wonder if it will be announced closer to arrival that this new build is going to be transfered to another market....

Hi All.....can you use the Sauna / Steam rooms on Pacific Jewel or do they charge for this access?
-
Australia has a binge drinking culture and hence the legislation to try to abate the impact of this on others.
I don't have a problem......hehehe

Hi All,
Does anyone know if P&O have drink packages?

As they don't have new ships filled with wave ridders, bumper cars, ice bars etc etc..They have to do something to attract younger cruisers...might lead to some disappointment when the experience doesn't match the advertising...reminds me of the new Johnny Walker ad slashing paint over antiques...just plain annoying

Im on Carnival Spirit on 2nd dec....looks like Carnival has Schoolies sorted.."
Minimum Age to Book:
For cruises departing from an Australian port between 1 November and 7 January, any passenger under 19 years of age on the day they board the cruise, must travel in the same stateroom as a responsible adult 19 years or older. In addition, from 8 January to 31 January, there is a limit on the number of passengers under 19 years of age who can travel unaccompanied. Once the limit is reached, a responsible adult 19 years or older must travel in the same stateroom. We can advise you at the time of booking whether the limit applies to your booking. Carnival Cruise Lines can waive the responsible adult requirement at its discretion. The responsible adult is accountable for passengers under 19 years of age in their stateroom for the duration of the cruise, and the ‘Rights of the Captain’ will be applied to anyone who displays disruptive behaviour.

Egypt is well worth the visit. But I would consider a three day direct holiday in Cairo with a reputable tour operator A&K, Thomas Cook etc rather than a cruise. If the ship ports at Alexandria its a very long drive to the Pyramids.....better to enjoy at your leisure

Thanks for the feedback, I was kind of interested to hear of any other stupid approaches to OBC
I should say that my friend has a pathological "dodgy" approach to getting free upgrades, discounts etc.... Pour all the beer dregs into one glass, telling the bar his beer is warm and asking for a replacement etc etc…….I tend to think he went as far as he could with this to achieve the obc.
He is enjoyable to watch but not a particularly nice human…he should be on a customer service watch list
we had a situation on NCL a couple of years ago where the sewer smell on the suite balcony was so bad we could use the balcony….guest relations agreed and without us asking GS gave us $300 obc per guest…stuff happens

Just had friend come back from cruise on Legend. He complained about noise level in his cabin...Under the kids clubs evidently...got a group of ajoining cabins to all complain as a group...like villages with pitch forks me thinks...managed to get $500 OBC for their trouble
anyone else got a fool proof plan to get OBC?

Might be worth calling the line and asking for an upgrade to the value of your original booking..you should at least be able wrangle some OBI given the price drops

Hi All, has anyone been on Carnival Spirit recently? I trying to find out about the fancy dress nights, themes etc .....so we can prepare
Anyone know what they do?

I wonder if this really was the action of a Bogan? Have they identified the culprit?
The Bogans I have seen are normally too drunk to muster the required strength to pull of this kind of action.
Could it not have been a case of a “Senior Behaving Badly"...I once saw a group of seniors leading a conga line in there bath robes through the casino on Celebrity Millennium....utterly shocking baviour….it disturbed all those lovely people playing craps.....

Do they do beer buckets on Carnival Australia?

We were on spirit last December and there's no mexican section in the buffet. On the mexican theme night they had it, but no other day during the cruise
