For cruises form UK this Autumn -
Passengers are required to be fully vaccinated.
Will all crew members be vaccinated ?
-
There is a comment on social media suggesting that we might hear something (?) next week.
Any news is better than no news.

Final Payment Date
Has this changed to 60 days prior to departure or is it still 90 days for the Christmas cruise ??
-
Has Saga changed their Terms and Conditions regarding final payment date ?
-
Has anyone heard directly from Saga or Travel Agent regarding any changes ?
There is nothing on the Website.

Had been booked for September 1 British Isles cruise on the Regal.
Cancellation was announced May 10. Received a full refund on my credit card on August 9, nearly three months later.
I had not contacted them for any follow up, just waited to see what would happen.
Our cruise to Norway for 9th June was cancelled 8th April - we are still waiting for a full refund. It appears that UK residents are having to wait longer !!!!

We have just received an email from Royal Caribbean cancelling cruises through 31 October 2020 along with select sailings in November.
We are very relieved as although we love cruising and have done very many cruises over the past several years with numerous cruise lines we do not feel that it would have been advisable at this time.

Does anyone have any information regarding cruises October 2020 from UK - there are rumours that these have been cancelled.
Final payment is due imminently

We were booked on this as a back-to-back with the now cancelled Amsterdam short cruise, so decided that we may as well cancel now before the final balance comes due.
Does this mean that you lose your deposit ?

Does anyone have any thoughts whether this cruise will actually happen ??
In view of the problems on Hurtigruten ship and others I have my doubts.

It may take 90 days or longer but you will be getting your deposit back. As far as waiting for Royal to do the right thing, I wouldn't hold my breath. CCL brands have been more aggressive canceling and pausing cruises knowing that there is no way they would be sailing.
Thank you for your input but my understanding is that the Terms and Conditions in the US are different to those in the UK. If we cancel rather than RC we will not be able to get a refund on the deposit. We are still awaiting a refund on the Dining Package which was cancelled 28 May (65 days and counting)

Common sense my friend. Gets you ahead in lifeI know perfectly what will happen having had 3 cruises already cancelled this year with 2 more pending I do not intend another cruise company to have more of my hard earned money. I know that Royal Caribbean will wait until AFTER final payment date. I am just hoping that a decision is made immediately as I do NOT want to go !!! If I cancel now I will lose my deposit or it will be a FCC - something else I do not want. I am just waiting for them to do the right thing.

36 crew members of Hurtigruten’s ship Roald Amundsen have just tested positive In Tromsø for COVID -19. All of the crew are now in quarantine, and passengers on the previous 2 cruises are being contacted. Even with protocols in place, it appears that it’s still too early to start cruising again.
Yes I totally agree

No because there won't be cruises in October.
Our final payment is due this week for our cruise on Anthem in October - if you know for certain that this will not go ahead I would love to know where you get your information from as it is still for sale in the UK at least

Anthem of the Seas has recently repatriated crew to India - India has now the 3rd highest infection rate of this
virus - Is Royal Caribbean planning to bring back all these crew members for the sailings from UK this October ??

A better question would be, what are the chances of any ship sailing in October?
I would love to know the answer to this question as we are booked to go on Anthem this October but very uncertain whether this will actually happen.
Also the FCO in UK are advising against all cruise travel.

Our 21st June cruise was cancelled on 15th April. Since then we've heard absolutely nothing. We selected to have a full refund as we already had a cruise booked for next April and FCCs don't last long enough past then for us to want another. Unfortunately we paid with debit card and through a TA so we're totally dependent on Pricess paying it back to the TA.
Is there somewhere on the Princess web site I can check for progress?
Is it possible Princess is giving precedence to its NA customers and leaving the rest of us to stew?
Our 9th June cruise was cancelled 8 April. We have been phoning Princess although our booking was through a TA. We have now been told that our refund has been forwarded to the Travel Agent but so far we have not seen the money. We live in hope that it may be forthcoming soon.
I think that you are right regarding UK being left behind in this process . According to Jan Swartz there are only 100 refunds left to finalise !!??
-
We have been waiting (patiently) for over 16 weeks for a refund on a cancelled cruise. When we phoned Princess last week we were told that the money had been forwarded to our TA on 13 July and it could take up to 3 weeks to reach the UK from Miami ??
I'm thinking that they are using Carrier pigeons or are just being very economical with the truth.
If this is the way that Princess are treating their customers then I am afraid that they will not regain the trust of loyal passengers.

What a total waste of time

We need answers not play silly games - we are not children but angry ELITE passengers who have been treated soooo bad - we need REFUNDS now !!!!

In the UK the Foreign and Commonwealth Office have advised all British residents NOT to travel on Cruise ships - when will Royal Caribbean make up their minds to cancel cruises scheduled for this October.
