Did you initiate the cancellation?  Or they cancelled your sailing?  When were you to sail?  We were to sail March 9, canceled on March 6 and they're saying no refunds.

We pulled the plug on our Dream Cruise that sailed yesterday 😞. 

We sadly pulled the plug on our Dream sailing today that we booked 10 mths ago.  So disappointing.  

I agree I had that same line of thought up to a few days ago but with it not just in countries but circulating in the US (The one community case in CA, grand princess people left the ship and went home) that is what is worrisome.  
 

I’m so mad at China for doing this to the world.  Covering it up initially From that doctor’s initial warnings and their animal markets.  
 

im not scared of dying of this just scared this is going to ruin the vacation we planned 10 months ago that my children are so excited for.

and I haven’t slept well all week so concerned about everything.
 

Same.  I booked our Dream cruise back in May.  We are still going, sailing Monday.

Are the dresses special or different than or limited to this experience and can’t buy anywhere else?  Trying to assess if the dress option is worth it or if it’s the same as what they sell at the regular stores.  I know some dresses aT WDW are exclusive to the park and can’t buy at DS

Thank you!  Are the dresses onboard unique to the cruise?  We got a Frozen anna dress at WDW that was unique to there.  Don’t want a dress we can find at the Disney store.

Just wondering how I will get my prepaid coffee card. Will it be dropped off by the room steward inside the cabin?

I'm not sure if it's walkable from where the Princess ships dock (I think Crown Bay) to Yacht Haven. I know you can walk from the downtown area to Yacht Haven but not sure from Crown Bay.

I guess I'm another one that's confused about the coffee card price because your picture shows $29 and on the Princess website it's $42 and I believe that includes the gratuities but it still doesn't work out to be $42.

Thank you for all the great information. Now I have a better understanding of how the two dining systems work and it makes sense. We'll head to the buffet if we're late due to a late excursion. I heard the dinner buffet on the Royal Princess is actually better than the dining room so all the more reason to try it.

I'm booked for the 5:30 sitting and if any of my excursions are later in the day, it would be very rushed to make it back for the 5:30 sitting. If I am late, can I go to the Anytime Dining? I know I can go to the buffet but can I go to Anytime Dining?

The online Shore Excursion site shows the number of available spots and I prefer to book the excursions when I'm on the cruise rather than pre-book and have problems cancelling it should something come up. Does Princess set aside more spots for passengers who prefer to book when on the ship? In the past I've always booked on the ship and I only need 2 spots and it isn't like I need 10 spots.

After just cruising in China and Japan, I can really appreciate what the article was talking about. The customs and personal interactions are so much different than in the USA. It is going to be a challenge for the cruise lines; but they will figure it out.

Definitely so many differences between China and the west. Having been to China a couple of times it is interesting to read or think about how they'll change things for the clientele. The guy smoking in his cabin and having no regard for the rules is concerning. The smoking in China is crazy!
