Also, it occurs to  me:

Are all three MDRs treated equally relative to DMW?

Do they open and close at the same time?

Is any one being used for any particular type of dining?

Where is the Club Class dining, as I'd guess it consumes a lot of empty tables?

I think that all of us have been frustrated to some extent with the DMW on the Medallion App. Seems to me it will be hard to have the same servers each night, for instance.

How'd it go last night? 

How does the waitstaff feel about it?

I don't have the records anymore regarding what type of rooms we booked. I definitely recommend the hotel and am sure you will have an enjoyable stay there. We were in the main building.

We stayed at the Hotel Smeraldo a few years ago. We enjoyed our stay but it does depend on what room they assign you. Some are very nice and some are very small and not standard layout. We had 4 rooms when we stayed. Our room had queen bed but you immediately stepped down 3 steps AFTER you opened the door to the room. The bathroom was long and skinny without enough room to pass each other. The other rooms seemed more open but all had quirks. We did enjoy our stay and at that time, they served a nice breakfast upstairs.

Thanks for the info. They grade their rooms as Small, Classic, Superior, and Superior w/balcony. We've booked Classic, for 2 nights. Do you know which type of rooms you had? The roof-top lounge area looks like a nice touch. Is that where they served breakfast?

Also, some Classic rooms are in an annex. We've requested the main building.

Has anyone heard if there is in fact Noro-Virus on board?

"In fact"? What indication has there been? The only issue I'd heard was the crew member appendicitis.

BTW, we were booked on the South Pacific cruise until my wife was diagnosed with a medical condition we needed to address, and hence cancelled a week before the sail date. We still have four friends aboard.

And I'll comment on another issue that's been brought up here. We are also Elite, and have found that Princess always goes the extra mile to take good care of their customers. That's why we got to Elite, and that's why we plan to continue to sail with them.
