How will they make their announcement later? Would it be on their website? I do I need to subscribe somewhere?
Thanks

Hi Joe, how's the second week? What have you been up to?
-
I was also interested in this Joe as we're doing a b2b next month. Did you have to get off the ship or did they take you to a designated place? Did you get to keep your old cards? Also I heard they sometimes give all b2b cruises a lunch somewhere, is that true? Thanks!

Exactly that Joe! What have you been up to? Where have you eaten? Have you tried any of the activities? Laser quest? Escape room? Have you watched any of the shows? What are your thoughts so far?
-
We're doing a b2b on Symphony in August and there are no dining packages available on either cruise.
-
Where was the sailaway party held? The top deck is so large so there's plenty of choice! Was it near the main pool?

So what time are you planning on getting on the ship Joe? I've heard a couple of people say they got on just after 10am but I thought they opened at 11am. What's on your 'to do' list for the first day on the ship?
-
Excellent, am following you on periscope. Can't wait!
-
What's your periscope handle Joe? I'll make sure I'm following! Thanks.
-
That's brilliant, thanks for the heads up! My mouth's watering already! :-)

The app shows the same menu for each day unless I'm mistaken? The mdr menu changes daily though.
-
Hi Joe,
If you could take a photo of the mdr menu each day too please, that would be great. Trying to work out what the 'weaker' nights are so we can book a couple of speciality restaurants!
Thanks.
-
I'm so looking forward to this! We're on a B2B on Symphony in August and I'm very interested in how they handle the turnaround day for those cruisers. Are you planning on doing any speciality restaurants? If you're able to get copies of the cruise compass and kids club sheets that would be fantastic. Happy holidays! XX

Bought! That's saved me a few quid :-)

Thank you so much! We leave on Saturday and this has really got me excited about our experience! First time on NCL...

How easy was it to drive out of the port and back into the port on the return? Did you drop the car off back at the ship? Did anyone check it?
Thanks, we're thinking of doing the same!

Hi All,
We have a stop at Civitavecchia at the end of May on the Epic and I've read a few posts about car hire and the new port entrance location so wanted to clarify a couple of points before I reserve a vehicle.
When we leave the ship I assume we will take a quick shuttle ride to the port entrance. Where exactly are you dropped off?
What car hire offices are near the port entrace. I'll have a 6 year old and 2 year old with me and would rather not drag them around the streets trying to find our car hire.
I believe Budget is right by the shuttle drop off, is that correct? Are there any others?
Many thanks in advance

I'm intrigued as to why only the Rome departures are showing on posters. A Thursday-Thursday holiday requires more annual leave and isn't our preference but I don't want to risk losing some of our chosen cabins if Barcelona departures are in a second set of release dates.... I wonder if we can book Barcelona tomm or whether it is just from Rome?
-
Wonderful, thanks so much!

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if there's any rooms for 4 people on the Epic that have the bed by the balcony? We need use of a pullman and the sofa bed too and as far as I can tell all rooms for 4 people seem to have the bed as you walk in. I imagine the room will feel very claustrophobic if you walk onto the bed? Or am I overthinking it?
Thanks

Fantastic info, thanks everyone!

We've cruised a few times with Pricess, Carnival and RCI but am looking at doing a 1 week med cruise on the Epic next year with our 2 children who will be 6 and 2. Freestyle cruising is completely new to us so would appreciate some inside knowledge.
The Epic doesn't have a nursery does it? I read somewhere that they do sessions for children under 3 with a parent attending, can anyone confirm?
Is there a height restriction on the water slides, I'd hate to go and find our daughter can't use them.
The current UK free at sea offer has 2 promos for a balcony room and we're looking at the UBP and either the $100 onboard credit or 3 x speciality dining nights. I'm unsure which one may be suitable for us. I'm sure the girls would love the Cirque show but not sure there are any other suitable restaurants for them and if there isn't childcare my husband and I can't really make the most of the other 2 sets of dining nights. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks all.

We're also boarding on 26th May and have a balcony room at the end of the boardwalk overlooking the aqua theatre. I have every confidence the cruise will go ahead. If the aqua shows are unavailable then so be it, as long as I still have my cruise! With 2 children school age we're very limited on when we can take holidays...
