  1. We're also boarding on 26th May and have a balcony room at the end of the boardwalk overlooking the aqua theatre.  I have every confidence the cruise will go ahead.  If the aqua shows are unavailable then so be it, as long as I still have my cruise!  With 2 children school age we're very limited on when we can take holidays...

  2. Hi All,

We have a stop at Civitavecchia at the end of May on the Epic and I've read a few posts about car hire and the new port entrance location so wanted to clarify a couple of points before I reserve a vehicle.

When we leave the ship I assume we will take a quick shuttle ride to the port entrance. Where exactly are you dropped off?

What car hire offices are near the port entrace. I'll have a 6 year old and 2 year old with me and would rather not drag them around the streets trying to find our car hire.

I believe Budget is right by the shuttle drop off, is that correct? Are there any others?

    Many thanks in advance

  3. Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if there's any rooms for 4 people on the Epic that have the bed by the balcony? We need use of a pullman and the sofa bed too and as far as I can tell all rooms for 4 people seem to have the bed as you walk in. I imagine the room will feel very claustrophobic if you walk onto the bed? Or am I overthinking it?

    Thanks

  4. We've cruised a few times with Pricess, Carnival and RCI but am looking at doing a 1 week med cruise on the Epic next year with our 2 children who will be 6 and 2. Freestyle cruising is completely new to us so would appreciate some inside knowledge.

The Epic doesn't have a nursery does it? I read somewhere that they do sessions for children under 3 with a parent attending, can anyone confirm?

Is there a height restriction on the water slides, I'd hate to go and find our daughter can't use them.

The current UK free at sea offer has 2 promos for a balcony room and we're looking at the UBP and either the $100 onboard credit or 3 x speciality dining nights. I'm unsure which one may be suitable for us. I'm sure the girls would love the Cirque show but not sure there are any other suitable restaurants for them and if there isn't childcare my husband and I can't really make the most of the other 2 sets of dining nights. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Thanks all.
