Leaving on the Wonder Nov. 13 from Port Canaveral. Is RCCL offering Port Valet for luggage to Orlando Airport after a cruise?

You can no longer put in your choice on the RCCL website. you have to call the C&A loyalty program. It took me a couple of phone calls before I got someone who actually knew how to do it. Not a game changer, but it's something.

On the Wonder Nov. 13, 2022 the only excursion on my cruise planner for Coco Cay is swimming with the pigs. How soon before your cruise did Coco Cay open up? Thanks

I am on the Wonder Nov. 13, all they are offering is 6 excursions so far. Nothing for Coco Cay at all. Seems weird, I know it's about 9 months out, but I have booked excursions more than a year out before.

The select sailing would be a 5 day, not doing that. Had to jump on Wonder. Cabin selections are slim. Time to buy a Time Share, LOL!!  Thanks everyone.

GTO Girl, I have a question for you off the topic. I was wondering where you stay at Port Canaveral before your cruise. I am looking at Holiday Inn club vacations, they have 2 bedroom villas which would be good, there are 14 of us going. Open to any suggestions, Thanks

Is Diamond still 20% on board?

Thanks, was definitely a game of chicken. My cruise was going to be the first one scheduled after the shut down. I have a FCC to use for my full deposit up until 2022.

I cancelled my Med. cruise for Sept. 27th. 2020, RCCL gave me a FCC for my non-refundable deposit. This was when the cruise was still sailing. Now that the cruise is cancelled, can I get my FCC deposit refunded to me? Thanks

Hopefully after it goes into dry-dock it might change!!

Can the balcony partitions be opened on the Explorer?

I am cruising Jan. 2019. I wanted to by Drink Package now while it is on sale. You can call the Bank of America, Royal Carib. number. (888-305-4626) Ask to speak to someone in the Resolution Department. Explain to them that you want to have your credit put on your cruise planner now to make a purchase. They have to get a supervisor to do it. It was applied within 10 minutes. I got the package for $47 a day.

Last week it was $47 for BOGO 1/2 off @ 25% off. Now it is 20% off for $48. Go figure!!

Currently it is BOGO 1/2 off for $47.00. Does anyone remember the price when it was 20% off. For some reason I think that price was also $47.00. Thanks

I have purchased alcohol many times in the San Juan airport and brought it home with me. I have never payed duty on it. Maybe because I'm only buying two bottles? I assume SJU is a United States airport. Is SJU considered an international airport?

Yes, it's not part of the " Continental" United States. I have also bought liquor there also. Prices were only a buck or two more than St Martin.. Paying that was better than lugging it from the cruise.

This is not totally correct. You cannot carry bottles of liquor through the security checkpoint. Once you are past the security checkpoint at the airport, you can purchase alcohol in the airport and carry it on the plane with you.

Not entirely correct, If you are at a United States airport flying to another airport in the States you cannot purchase Duty Free liquor. You have to be departing from an International Airport going to the United States to purchase Duty Free.

Take a left on Front St. On the right side of the street, before McDonalds, there is a reputable cigar store. It is two floors.

Can you use luggage valet in San Juan?

I was looking to book Freedom, 8 day, January of 2019. Will it be going out of SanJuan then instead of FLL?

Someone just mentioned in a previous post that they are not offering the 20% discount on-board for Diamond members, for booze package. Do you know if that is true??

Does anyone know if I wait to board on Sunday to get drink package, will I get the 20% off by being a Diamond member. I have on-board credit that I have to be on the ship to use.

Do not keep it in your pocket if you are going through a body scanner at the airport. It will show up in your pocket, and you will have to take it out for them to clear that area. Just keep it in your carry-on. Make sure you take out your liquids, gels, aerosols and lap-top out of your bag before it goes through the x-ray at the airport, to avoid a search.
