My grandson is going to need to be able to take a college final while we are on a sea day on the Jewel of the Seas. It will be a monitored test from Germany (if that matters) Anyone have any ideas on how best to do this? A 12 day package is $371. But in addition to taking this test at 7:00 pm specifically, he will need to study the material before hand.
Any suggestions on how to do this, and a $ savings if possible over 12 days. They told me I could do day to day for $25 but can't book it beforehand only at the internet cafe once we are on board.

Ohhh getting closer for you! We board on May 26th with somewhat similar ports. Would love to hear if you have any insights to offer. Have a wonderful time!

Don't know about ATVs, we usually rent a car. You will dock in Frederickstad which has a decent frontage but you really need to get to Christianstad to see St Croix so do try to get a way around the island. You might call their visitors bureau.
If you dive In2theblue is right there in Frederickstad.
A snorkel trip to Buck Island is awesome. We use Capt Heinz when we are there. I think his boat is Toro and Toro II
We were there in January and the beautiful rain forest was inaccessible. So I would check on that before trying to ATV there.

We did a private tour with Marva a few years back down what I think was the white river down to the ocean. It was terrific. Our grandchildren were 7 and 5 and we did hold on to them but really the guides swam along with us the entire way and would push us back towards center if we even headed towards the banks. So relaxing.
They did do a photo stop with refreshments about half way. Would highly recommend Marva. She picked us up at the port and we did Dunn's river falls and the river rafting. Also took us to a local jerk chicken place to eat that was terrific.

I agree with the other comments. San Cristobal is a great fort that I think the boys might like to explore, I would suggest that one.

There are 8 of us seniors cruising together. We were looking at the alcoves as a place to go on a sea day where we could all relax and be together. Uncertain how crowded the public areas are to do this? What do you think? We were going to split the cost so $75 per couple. Still wouldn't recommend? Not sure why they wouldn't face the ocean either...

Ok thanks everyone. He has two tests so he can do 1 in London before we board. Then we’ll just go down to the Internet cafe, maybe if he takes it there there will be someone who can help us with the connection. If it doesn’t work it doesn’t work I guess.
