  1. Although we did spend one night after the cruise in Copenhagen and stayed in the Hilton@ the airport for ease - highly recommend you book private transport. It can be easy to catch a cab OR it might be a nightmare. We took the train and it was a nightmare as some guy in front of me (who was from Germany) buying his tickets had a BIG issue with his credit card in the ticket machine. Not that that will be an option for you but just had to vent.

  2. I noticed that a part of the online check in we now have to select a check in time.... any advice from cruisers out of NOLA? The first time is 11:30 - 12:00 and the last time is 2:00-2:30. Other than getting on board early, waiting for the cabins to be opened, and have lunch - is there a "better" time to select? Thanks Donna

  3. That seems very expensive for 2 days PP

Most are in the $300 pp range

Sorry, yes it was $600 total for 2 days for 2 people....

The Princess excursions were way more expensive at the time. If I remember correctly to be on the bus with 48 other cruises was like $500 p/p so it saved us $400 and we were a group of 18 with a guide that managed to get us in the front of the line for most of the attractions. Plus we convinced her to let us take the subway a couple stops to see the amazing Stalin era subway stops!

  4. I agree that if you can afford it pick an itinerary that spends 3 nights and close to SPB. Although I loved our Star Princess Baltic cruise I would have preferred to skip Estonia and spent 3 nights in SPB.
