some cases, the difference is a wash (i.e., cruise only fare + air credit + SBC perk = O Life price). But, if you select booze or tours as your O Life perk, the value of O Life is a better choice.

OP: Oceania is a cruise line where it is best to use a TA who is one of O's top sellers (O's Connoisseurs Club) and who will most likely share their commission with you.

We booked our cruise directly with them.

My question is why better to choose booze or tours for our $800 cabin credit?

Also, how do you find a TA that is O’s Connoisseur Club member?

  2. They will form a group of 6. They had a sign right after we came down the gangway and directed us to our van and driver.

We had our own group of 4, because I was bringing the scooter I had rented for cruise. We paid for 6 even though there were 4 of us, so I could bring the scooter.

I felt like we got a great flavor for the city and the area and it’s history. You could email them to see how groups are formed.

I did see the tuktuk tours lined up to pick up passengers.

They would probably be fun if you want to just stay in the city.

  3. We did the “Pirate Tour” for cruise ship passengers from the company “We Hate Tourism Tours”.

It seems like a crazy name for a tour, but our driver/guide was fantastic. Took us to see much in the city the north to 2 interesting locations and the coastal road back to Lisbon. Lunch in a non tourist local restaurant was included plus he stopped and got the creamy dessert Lisbon is noted for to try before going back on ship.

  4. If you bought a two device package, your husband and you can be on the same time, but the password is the same for both of you.

If you are not expecting to need to be on line at the same exact time,

You could buy a one device package and share that between the two of you.

You would just need to communicate with each other that one or the the other wants to go online.

    You need to go to

    "Logoff.com"

You are the logged of and the next person can log on using the password given to you when you board.

It is at first confusing, but we did share connection.

My husband told he was done and logged off, then I logged right back on,.

  5. I use direct booking after an experience on a South American cruise.

I could not make changes because they said I was apart of a group, which I was not.

I had used an internet company to book because I thought rates were better.

Guess they booked me as part of a group they booked.

It was great this year being able to call and make a room change directly

  6. Had a 17 and 23 sharing the connection for their cabin.

Each had to communicate when they wanted to get on, then other had to go to "logoff.com" for other to get on.

One was on it almost the whole time, other wanted to get on, but not as much.

Wish I had separate password for their room, so I didn't have to worry of one jumping on when I logged off for my husband to use it.

You'll probably have the same password for all 5 devices.

If anyone switches from iPhone to iPad or computer they need to know to log off from one device before switching to another device they use.

  7. Last year got 1 connection for 4 in 2 cabins.

This year got 2 connection for 2 cabins.

Each cabin was suppose to share - connection.

When we got to ship there was only one password for both connections. Kids in 2nd cabin hogged both.

It would have been better for each cabin to have own password and device to share, even though, would have been about $50 more for our 14 day cruise.

  8. We shared a package for one device among 4 last year.

Who ever is on needs to go to Logoff.com

To log off, so next person can the use it.

Your 17 year old will probably be on it most of the time, but needs to log off for you to use it.

You then need to enter the password the ship will give you.

    Then logoff.com

So he can go back on.

You'll all share the same password even if you decided to get it for 2 or more devices.

I think one device would probably be enough for you and your son to share.

From our experience he will be on it most of the time.
