The size of the lobster tail is a tiny small 4 oz! A kind of disgusting! The onion soup is watery - worse than the one in the regular dinning room. My rib eye steak was way over cooked, from MR to MW! I had to ask three times for olive oil for my bread.

When you are staying in an inside cabin, you'll have no ideas if your head is moving side-way or front-way. Why worry about it!

You can use your OBC for anything, drinks, excursions, shoppings etc. However you can also cash it in in the casino (take it out as cash) with a 2-3% deduction. You can use the cash for whatever purposes (even take it home)

FYI, they are both owned by Carnival (US). The two new QE and QV designs are based on the new Holland American's blue print. You can say that they are identical except for the interior design and marketing niche.

Don't worry about the bag weight! It is determine by your airline carrying allowance (usually 50 Lb/bag) and not by the cruise liner.

The good old British separation by class is way outdated! We are on vacation on-board a cruise ship and not trying to show off who is richer than others. Just want to have some fun with the family. No wonder Cunard is not profitable at all and sold to cheap old Carnival American owner.

I am flying from Vancouver, Canada, to Tokyo March 13 before the cruise and will stay at the Tokyo Hyatt Regency for three days. Anyone doing the same thing?
