We purchased the top range WiFi package (needed to work) for $189.00 on the Zuiderdam for 11 days. It was not fast but we use satellite WiFi at home (Huges Net) and it was comparable. The last two days (sea days) were extremely slow- perhaps due to others buying WiFi for last sea days?? I wish it was less expensive but without it I would not have been able to cruise. 😊

We usually take a Raspberry Pi with flash drive (about 70 movies) and have never had any trouble watching them on the cabin’s TV. This is our first time with HAL so maybe we won’t even need them. But we were happy to have our own selection to view on other cruise lines. :)

Do you find it more advantageous to book with a TA or directly with Carnival? Thank you

When someone in my Uber (name withheld) ;) left their cell phone we just used my smart phone to log into their account, (you can use your computer also). We gave notice that it was left and within 30 minutes had the cell phone back in hand! Lyft also does this. Google “locating left cell phone in Uber” for step by step directions. Now when a business partner left her glasses in a cab the company had no idea who or what cab it was - so she never retrieved the glasses . I love technology ❤️

I’ve used both Lyft and UberX between Fort Lauderdale Airport, Port Everglades, Port of Miami and Miami International Airport. It was just my husband and I and luggage. Great transportation- fast and very reasonable. I like the ability to have a record of my driver incase glasses or cell phone are left in the Uber/Lyft - if left in a taxi the ability to retrieve it is slim. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes either at the airport or port 😊

2 weeks on the Zuiderdam was $169.99 for the mid-level package: I think it was called Surf package. Streaming was $50 more. You can figure a bit more than that for 6 more nights.

It has been my experience that Uber or Lyft are less expensive and a nicer ride. Usually just a few minutes from entering in your request (in the app) to pickup time. Last time I checked it was about $19.00 for the ride from airport to port- and the UberX holds 4 passengers. We use them for every cruise. 👍
