We will be on this cruise next month. How did they distribute the tickets for that first day? Having booked a private tour, we would also like to be off the ship as soon as we am able. Any tips for getting a the tickets early would be most appreciated.Thank you so much for sharing your experience and information. So looking forward to this cruise.

We also just came off this cruise, had a wonderful time! Yes, the first day in Haifa was a bit of an ordeal to get your passport “ticket” (this is in place of a stamp). Everybody on the ship (crew too) must go through this, only the first day, even if you aren’t getting off the ship. Luckily I picked up our disembarkation ticket number early. For the first day, be careful booking any private tours because it can be hard to predict when you’ll be off (could take 1-2 hrs to clear customs)..The passport ticket was valid for all days in Israel. Also, for all Israel port stops, after disembarking the ship you need to pass through security to scan all bags etc. definitely disembark the ship around 30 min before your tour time.

For a few days, our app was also showing Nassau. However, today I checked and it's back to Key West.

I have read and re-read all about the testing and have found it all quite stressful. Don't want any problems. Thank you Bethany Beach for the reassuring post. I am also heading to CVS (for testing) for cruise next week. Thanks!

We were also on this cruise and spent a lot of time at the Sunset Bar, sorry we never met. Yes, the Sunset bar has a better layout on the other ships, Reflection and Silhouette. The Martini bartenders were wonderful: August, Imade, Rory, Eka and a guy that looks like singer Pit Bull. We had a blast with them every night. Every staff member we came in contact with was wonderful and we were sure to list their names on the survey.
We read a lot about waiting for drinks, however, we didn't have a problem during this cruise. We enjoyed the food and always found something that we liked on the menus. We did go to Silk Harvest and thought it was good, not great, as it was a bit salty for us. Met many wonderful passengers from all over the US, Canada, and Europe. Many laughs at the silent disco, disco never dies night, and the comedy shows. Didn't go to the production shows.
We look forward to cruising again on the Equinox!

We traveled on the Eclipse last year to Australia/New Zealand and most recently to Antartica. I will admit last year we were a little disappointed in the MDR food and also thought the ship looked a little tired. However, this year we definitely noticed a nice improvement to the MDR food and choices. Sushi on Five was great (we went twice.) Yes some areas are worn, the library book choices are minimal but we could overlook those things. The crew is just outstanding. They are happy, thoughtful - truly just a fantastic group. Many remembered my husband and I and cheerfully greeted us every day of our cruise. Manuel was the Cruise Director and he was very social and humorous. We would not hesitate to book another cruise on this ship.
