I am sailing on the October Transatlantic on the Edge. There are very few shore excursions listed at this time. Do you think they will add more as time goes on or is that it?? If so, I will book private excursions…just wanted to use up the OBC…what do you think?
 

Planning shore excursions for first Alaska tour and don’t know if the excursions I’m thinking of are too much whale watching...thinking of private whale watching in Icy Strait and in Sitka the excursion called Sea Otter Quest which also goes to Fortress of the Bears. And also maybe the Portgage Glacier and Wildlife Conservatory in Anchorage. It is 14 day tour..going to Dog Mushers on land  and Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau and just walking around the other towns. What do you think?

I want to book a cabin on Holland- America MS Amsterdam. I don’t know whether to wait until after the final payment date or pay now. Do prices usually go down? It’s only a couple of weeks away...

Going on TA and I'd like to bring a flavored water I use to take my pills. How many bottles am I allowed ?

I understand there will be 4 formal nights on the 16 day TA Reflection. Does anyone have an idea on when these might be?

We have been reading the comments on this thread, as well as the other thread. While we don't want to comment on the demographics discussion, as well as who we are attracting, we can say that we are looking into the music issue to determine if and why it is too loud. Apologies that we can't comment any further (at least for now), but wanted to at least let everyone know that we aren't ignoring these discussions, and are in fact looking into this.

Going on 15 night transatlantic and trying to get an idea on when the formal nights are. Anyone have any ideas?

I need help! We are docking in Civitavecchia, want to spend the day touring Rome, and ending up at a hotel near the Airport since we leave the next day. Any advice on how we can do this? Are there any companies that will pick us up at the dock, give us a tour, and take us to the hotel? Or any other ideas on how to accomplish this?
