  1. We were in Nassau 4/30 and took the #10 jitney to Melia. Walked right in to the lobby and purchased two day passes for $30 each (our 2 year old was free). It was one of the best days we've ever had. We were in port from 12-8p and the Melia was great. We ate lunch before we got off the ship, so can't comment on food, but the chairs were nice and Cable Beach was gorgeous. The water was calm and shallow enough for my DD to swim around with us, and there was a nice breeze when we were out of the water just playing in the sand. We would love to spend a week there!

  2. I just checked and it's the Fairfield Inn & Suites Titusville...

    Hope this helps!!!

THANK YOU!!! This certainly helps. After googling I found a thread on here from 2012 that several hotels in Cocoa Beach offer the 40% coupon too. I'm sure the Titusville hotel will be cheaper for the room, though, so thank you for posting!

  3. Have you looked into the Comfort Inn and Suites in Cocoa Beach. If you will have your car you could stay in Titusville it is right on I-95....there are a few options there that would be much cheaper than staying in Cocoa Beach

Thank you wrigley. We will be coming from I-95 so I'll look into Titusville. Ideally I would love to find something on priceline or hotwire for less than $100.

  4. Hello everyone,

DH and I will be cruising out of PC and will be driving down the night before, then driving to the port (and parking there). I'm in need of a hotel the night before. I've read all the suggestions here for the beach hotels, Radisson, Country Inn & Suites, etc. that offer the shuttle snooze/cruise/park packages, but they are a little more than I wanted to pay since we'll be paying to park at the port.

Any suggestions for hotels on the mainland? Maybe something 20 minutes or so inland? We'll be arriving late the night before so we'll literally only be sleeping there (no need to be on the beach, pool, etc). TIA!

  5. I have enjoyed your review and I love to see other families that take their little ones on big adventures. We are booked next month for a Caribbean cruise with our 2.5 year old DD. Her first cruise was last year to Alaska when she was almost 2 and she did fantastic. It's a little more work vacationing with a LO, but so worth it to share these experiences with them. You have a beautiful family.

Megan's Bay is probably our favorite beach so far. And Puerto Rico has a special place for us. DH and I sailed out of PR back in 2009 and fell in love with the island. We spent a week there for a babymoon before DD was born. Not the best beaches IMO, but so much to see and do. The forts are amazing and I love all the history.

    Thanks for a great review!
