  1. My main concern is the weight limit on the charter flight between buenos aires and ushuaia. I am a photograher and my equipment is heavy. Couple that with the fact that this is the 18 day cruise where you are evidently expected to dress a little nicer than usual for dinner at least two nights and that this is the 18 day cruise with a side trip to iguazu falls, and i am stressed to the max.

Our instructions are a total weight of 50 pounds checked and 33 pounds carry on. I don’t see how i can do it with my heavy camera equipment.

I guess my question is, in your experience, how closely did they monitor the carry on bags both coming and going and did they give the option to pay if you were overweight. Thank you.

  2. Our instructions say that we are limited to 50 pounds for checked luggage and 17 pounds for carryon for the Buenos Aires-Ushuaia flight. That doesn't seem like enough for an 18 day cruise.

Also we are taking the Iguazu Fall side trip where the weight limits are also limited.

My question is this. Has anyone out there done this cruise and do they actually weigh the luggage? And do they give you the option to pay extra if you are over the weight limit?

    Thank you. Lana
