  1. Is there anyway to find out what bands and/or live music entertainers will be onboard a particular cruise?  I've tried calling main number for princess and they say there is no way to know this information   Any suggestions?

  2. I also hope they will leave the Coral alone. Coral and Island were two of our favorite ships. We were on island princess fall of 2016 for 19 days and they have really butchered her The space that is gone is not explores lounge but the club fusion at the very back of the ship It was replaced with more state rooms and a very tiny fitness center Previous luxurious fitness center with windows has been turned into something else All of the space that we had once enjoyed on the island was gone I do indeed feel the difference of all the extra people and the limited space With club fusion gone people that would've been in that venue are now in the others The halls to the other venues are also crowded as are the elevators. There was a TON of negative feedback. We will avoid the island princess and pray they leave coral alone

  3. Has anyone been onboard the Rotterdam recently - The last few months ? my Husband and I are social ballroom, country western, and Carolina shag dancers We were recently on the Eurodam and were so disappointed by the amount of dancing music available. Lots of listening music but very little dancing we are planning a cruise on the Rotterdam next February for 14 days and want to make sure there will be dancing available it seems Holland America is doing away with their Neptune and HALcat bands which usually provide most of the dancing music We would like to know if there was dancing available in the ocean bar on a regular basis thanks so much

  4. As you know, the dancing availability really differs from ship to ship -- even within the same cruise line. I agree -- we are a group that is rapidly growing in number and we need to make our presence known. I think we need to have a sub-group within Cruise Critic to promote the availability of ballroom dancing on all ships. How do we go about doing it?

We've had very mixed experiences on most lines. Princess USUALLY has a danceable group in the Wheelhouse but that's the smallest floor. They also USUALLY have the orchestra play some in a larger venue. The bad thing is it all depends on the cruise director, etc. and is not predictable. How can we unite and further our musical cause?
