  2. We have a private tour in Corfu. We will still have 3 hours after the tour. What are some suggestions for after the tour? I have seen that there is the usual at the cruise terminal of duty free shops etc. Looking forward to your responses. TIA

  3. Hello All,

    We will be on Norwegian Pearl next month and have Ravenna as a port day. From what I understand the city center is 12km away from port. Has anyone had experience with this port? Or any locals here? Will there be taxis at port? Or how do you recommend getting to city center without doing a ship excursion? When calling NCL they say to check once on board.

  4. We have similar changes …. Pearl on 5/27 out of Trieste. Venice port day 2 was replaced to Ravenna. Montenegro and Mykonos shortened by a few hours on each. Disappointed 😔 on the earlier times. Has anyone done Ravenna in the past? Is there a shuttle to city center? I see that Bologna is only a one hr train ride. We are in port 12 hours. Thoughts on doing this?

    it’s been a bit since we cruised with NCL. I see that they sell cartons of water on board. In the past it was ok to bring a case of bottled water on board. Is this still allowed? Or is only carton water now allowed? We are boarding in Italy.

  6. Horrible! We were a group of 20. We requested PHL. We had to go to JFK. Connecting flight to BCN. Not enough comfortable time for layover in MAD. No one in our party got seats with their traveling party. We had to maneuver once on board as they would not assist prior to boarding, it was pure chaos. Same thing with returning flights. Never again! 

  7. Hello All….. we are Platinum level with Royal. What is the status match on MSC? This will be our first MSC cruise. We are booked on new ship Euribia - regular cabin, not Bella or yacht . What will we be missing? Do we consider upgrading? How is entertainment besides shows? And I know food is subjective of course to everyone …. But how does selection compare to other lines?   Is there a coffee card to purchase? Anything you think is helpful would be greatly appreciated!! TIA

  9. Hello All

    since 12/24 is a Sunday this year , I am wondering if there are any

    locsls on here that can tell us what will be open, it appears from the 22/23 Christmas market schedule it said 12-6 on sundays. What else if anything will be open? We will be in port for 14 hours so have a lot of time to do anything and everything lol. Thank you in advance for your time!

    We did it a few weeks ago on summit twice and I wanted to do it a third time , always a fun show , four course meal was outstanding we do it at least once on all celebrity cruises, food was far superior to Tuscan grill. ( we were in a royal suite so no charge but we do this even when we pay for it)

    Thanks for the review. Did you do it twice in one cruise? We are on the Summit next month for 10 days. Will they have 2 different shows on a 10 day cruise? The app as of now shows same menu every night. TIA

    I am currently dealing with NCL air. It has been a nightmare. We are 24 days out and I still don't have flights. My TA called for weeks now and they keep saying our issue has been elevated to the next level, but still not flights.  She has stated she has never has such poor service before when it comes to booking air. There is no contact to the six employees that work on these issues.  I personally have called, spoke with a supervisor and their response is to be patient and they will get to it. Not sure at what point, I just purchase additional tickets to make sure I get to my cruise. NCL customer service (in regards to air) is basically non existent. Good luck!!

    Oh No!!! What a nightmare! I hope that you are reimbursed from NCL air. We only have ever used them once 13 years ago and it was not easy then to say the least. Recently booked with the BOGO air promotion for next year. Please keep us posted. Sending good vibes to you that this gets worked out this week so you can rest!!

  12. Has anyone used recently (last year)for Europe? I realize this season has not yet started. Specifically for Trieste. Wondering how the experience is with them? We only ever used the air portion once about 12 years ago and it was not easy to say the least lol. Flying from Philadelphia and my

    main question is - will they book the flights to Trieste? Or will they do Venice (which is 2 hours away). I really hope it is Trieste. 
    Examples of origin city and connections greatly appreciated.
