we enjoyed traveling with you on another great adventure. Thanks for your wonderful reports.

Looking forward to your posts. Have a wonderful cruise.

Thank you so much for taking us along on another wonderful voyage. Like you we love the atmosphere in the Crows Nest during the day. It's so cozy & those recliners are so comfy I have dozed off more than once!
Good luck on your surgery John, just remember to do what they tell you & you'll be fine.

So happy we get to cruise with you again this year! Enjoy .:D

No, not the same thing. In Miami you can check in for your cruise at the airport when you get off the plane.
Oh I totally misunderstood. We drove from Orlando so there was no airport involved.
-
rHas anyone used the Carnival cruise check in service at the Miami airport? I read that they have one at the airport and it makes it easier to 'check in'. I believe they give you your sign and sail card right then and there, etc. Just wondering everyone's opinions. Not sure if we're talking about the same thing but we arrived around 3 PM last Thursday & the driver let us out where there 3 nice porters who took our luggage. We went in, got quickly scanned & took the escalator up to the desk where we got our cards & just walked on the ship.
Getting out was a long, hot process. If you are lucky enough that your luggage come in on A there is a line right there to wait in to get to customs. it was a lot shorter than for the B's & C's. We will do our best never to sail out of there again.

You folks all sound much better at sharing than I'd like to be! Just imagine sharing your bedroom with 3 of your best friends for a week!
I would have fun doing it for one night like at an old fashioned slumber party but not for a week on a cruise!!
I wish you all good luck!
I agree with you. When we went to Alaska 4 women shared a balcony room, nobody wanted to sleep in the bunk so the 2 youngest shared a bed. I couldn't imagine anything worse.
Hope it works out well.

That link was cut off..
Here is the link to legally blond - looks great...just starting to read
I just went back & reread a little bit of this. I had forgotten how much I disliked it but kept reading it thinking she would come to her senses:D

I just wanted to add my thanks for sharing this amazing journey. Welcome home.

Thank you so much for letting all of us tag along.

Hope you see a bunch of leopards!

Hi Margie!! I see you are going on the Sensation. Not sure when she was last in dry dock, but the beds are not against the wall. If that box at the end of the bed is gone, you will have no problem walking around the bed to see out.
That's great news. Now I guess I'd better research your favorite slot machine😼🎰💰

As you can see below that the lower box is still there but the upper one that held the older style TV is gone. They replaced 2 wall panels (that were a different color than the rest of the cabin). The shelf that held the TV wasn't finished (plain wood) so it looks like they are working on things before she goes into dry dock.
None of this diminished the fun we had on our cruise. These were just observations.
Congratulations on your good luck Pam. I see that you had an ocean view cabin. Did the bed go all the way over to the window? We have an OV booked in June but I don't want to have to crawl over the beds to see out the window

Your table sounds like a lot of fun. We always seem to get tablemates who don't talk::::rolleyes:

Thanks for taking us along again this year! Looking forward to some exciting adventures.

Laughing at myself right now! Because of your "name" the-inside-cabin, all I was thinking was there was no way I would survive 133 days in an inside room!!! I am so happy for you both!
I was doing the same thing Kathie.,
Best wishes for a fantastic cruise. I will be following along faithfully.

I'm not great at online photos. I hope this link works.
Here is a link to some photos I took of the ship decorated for the holiday. There are a few of us on Gala nights as well, which really show off the decorations onboard.

Hopefully someone will tell me if this link works! I can see them, but also hope I have the sharing set up correctly. Thanks
The link does work. I didn't have time to look at all of them since I'm supposed to be on my way to work but I enjoyed the ones I did see.

When we were in the Westerdam at Thanksgiving they had both. Twice we shared one but even that was a lot to eat. There were always some in bags that were pre made but I never saw anybody get one.
-
I thoroughly enjoyed your cruise review. The liquid soap was unappealing to me too & I have added bar soap to my packing list for our next cruise.
My deepest sympathy on the death of your son. Hopefully you were both able to thik about the wonderful times you had on past family cruses.

Looking forward to the next part of your adventure.

Thanks for taking "us" along with you.
-
I agree. I don't think it tasted like bubble gum either. It's was very good. I hope they have it on the eurodam in 8 days time.
I hope they have it on the Westerdam at Thanksgiving :D

I'm so glad this is a favorite ship for many of you. Can't wait to find out for ourselves:D
Want to avoid getting cruise crud on our next cruise

My ENT told me to start about a week before traveling with my prescription Fluticasone Spray in the morning, Neilmed sinus rinse in the evening & a Zyrtec before bed. Continue until I get home. Also drink lots of water. Fingers crossed this works over Thanksgiving.
