  1. Has anyone used the Carnival cruise check in service at the Miami airport? I read that they have one at the airport and it makes it easier to 'check in'. I believe they give you your sign and sail card right then and there, etc. Just wondering everyone's opinions.

Not sure if we're talking about the same thing but we arrived around 3 PM last Thursday & the driver let us out where there 3 nice porters who took our luggage. We went in, got quickly scanned & took the escalator up to the desk where we got our cards & just walked on the ship.

Getting out was a long, hot process. If you are lucky enough that your luggage come in on A there is a line right there to wait in to get to customs. it was a lot shorter than for the B's & C's. We will do our best never to sail out of there again.

  2. You folks all sound much better at sharing than I'd like to be! Just imagine sharing your bedroom with 3 of your best friends for a week!

I would have fun doing it for one night like at an old fashioned slumber party but not for a week on a cruise!!

I wish you all good luck!

I agree with you. When we went to Alaska 4 women shared a balcony room, nobody wanted to sleep in the bunk so the 2 youngest shared a bed. I couldn't imagine anything worse.

    Hope it works out well.

  3. As you can see below that the lower box is still there but the upper one that held the older style TV is gone. They replaced 2 wall panels (that were a different color than the rest of the cabin). The shelf that held the TV wasn't finished (plain wood) so it looks like they are working on things before she goes into dry dock.

None of this diminished the fun we had on our cruise. These were just observations.

Congratulations on your good luck Pam. I see that you had an ocean view cabin. Did the bed go all the way over to the window? We have an OV booked in June but I don't want to have to crawl over the beds to see out the window

  4. I'm not great at online photos. I hope this link works.

Here is a link to some photos I took of the ship decorated for the holiday. There are a few of us on Gala nights as well, which really show off the decorations onboard.

Hopefully someone will tell me if this link works! I can see them, but also hope I have the sharing set up correctly. Thanks

The link does work. I didn't have time to look at all of them since I'm supposed to be on my way to work but I enjoyed the ones I did see.
