This is our first time to do a B2B when on the Solstice this weekend. What is the process when we get back to LA port after the first week? We will be changing cabins but only 2 doors down. Obviously we will have to move everything but do we need to have everything packed up and get off the ship with our bags? How long do we have to be off the ship till we can board again? Thx!

Can someone tell me the “rank” in order of the veranda cabins on Holland’s ships? VA is the best down to VQ?? Where do the just V cabins fall in the order? We usually book guarantees VH and am just curious. I know a lot is based on location. Thx

Has anyone had experience bringing folding bikes (in a carryon bag) on the ships to carry off at port to ride around to explore? They would fit under our bed in our cabin and we would just carry them off in the carryon bag at port.

No, they did not enforce theses times and started boarding at 11:30 on our Jan 4 Koningsdam cruise.

For our upcoming 9 night cruise it is $349 for 2 for the therapy pool and ceramic chairs.

Is anyone else having a difficulty logging onto Holland's website this evening? It says "unable to contact the server".

We will be sailing on the Koningsdam for the first time next month. I always enjoy finding a quiet place to lay out in the sun on the highest deck on the ship. On deck 12 the Observation deck there is the "Retreat" off of the "Crows Nest". I know there's a charge for the "Retreat" but is there another area on that deck with regular places to lay out? thx

How much is a weekly pass to the spa on the Koningsdam? We will be on a 9 night cruise in Jan.

I had no idea it was going to dry dock as it's only 2 years old. They must have gotten a lot of feedback to make these changes. We sail on the 1/4/19 sailing so am looking forward to no smoking in the casino.

UPDATE!! I left a message with my PCC and hadn't heard back from her so I called Holland's 800# and said I'd left a message but hadn't heard back from my PCC so asked if they could look at my account and credit me for a total of $300 since there was a price drop overnight as I just booked yesterday.  They said absolutely and it was done! I was able to keep the free gratuities and beverage card credit they are offering with their cyber sale till end of today. I'm so happy! Love good deals!

How much is a weekly pass to the therapy pools and Persian Garden on the Equinox? I've done research and anywhere from $99-$199 comes up. I understand it is included with the Aqua Class cabins but we are in a regular balcony. Thanks for any info.

We are booked on a 10 night Caribbean cruise March 7 and just realized it doesn't have the hydrotherapy pool in the spa so are disappointed. Does it have the traditional "afternoon tea" that we've come to enjoy on the other Holland ships?

Hey Summersigh! Steve & I were on the Eurodam with you and your hubby last year! I see you are taking the Panama Canal Sunfarer cruise this winter. We are on that cruise a week from tomorrow, Nov. 30! It would have been great to meet up with you again! Hope your Steve has had a good recovery!

My husband and I along with our cousins each booked a balcony guarantee room for our Jan. 31 Caribbean cruise. We booked this around Jan 10. My husband and I were given a cabin about 3 days later, around the 13th. However our cousins who were booked the very same time we booked with the same travel agency have not been assigned a cabin. We called Princess yesterday to ask about this and they said they have until 2 days before the cruise to assign a cabin. When is the latest any of you have waited to have been assigned a cabin? The balcony cabins have been sold out since we were given a cabin. Anticipation!!

Great tips and ideas! I will make sure I order extra vegetables at dinner which I hadn't thought of. In the past I've rarely taken the stairs and that's the plan again.

I've been eating really healthy the last two months and want to continue on our upcoming 7 night cruise on the Caribbean Princess. This is our first time on Princess and I would love some suggestions on how to order in the dining room and what to look for on the menu....or the buffet. I am not a buffet person except for lunch probably. I've been staying with baked, broiled or grilled fish & chicken along with salads and steamed vegetables. If any of you have been able to stay with a healthy diet on a cruise I'd love to hear from you! I will stay away from the breads and desserts. Thanks for your suggestions!
