Thank you for the quick response.  Do you know if the Market still plenty of vendors/restaurants/stores or have many closed down due to COVID?  I'm just wondering if the Market has been affected like our local malls; one local mall has 1/2 or less than 1/2 of the stores it had pre COVID. It is really sad to go there.  Once popular places are now practically deserted.

Hello.  I was reading about crime in downtown and Market area.  Is it safe to stay at the Inn at the Market, and walk through the market?  Also, due to COVID, are many vendors/restaurants/stores closed down; is the market partly deserted? Thank you.

As an IT person, I give them props for moving their platform to a single sign-on...for the user it is simplified. I am able to log into the site now, BUT I am not a happy girl when I expect to see the details of our upcoming sailing including the shore excursions/enhancements purchased in advance and all I see is our confirmation and cabin number...none of the other details that we used to have access to are available. Looks like our cruise history has migrated over to the new platform, but it would be nice to see more details for our upcoming cruise such as payment history, itinerary, options for bed configuration, etc. Hoping this is just a temporary hiccup as they work out the kinks. Some advance communication (thinking with my Organizational Change Management/change adoption "hat") to help users might help us get over the hump...THAT would have been be a wonderful thing. :(

My situation is about the same. I can see my 2 booked cruises and my history, but the cruise details are gone. It doesn’t even show the itinerary. It has a button to select to do my check-in for a cruise just booked, but it only gives an error. It is not an informative error; it is one a developer would see.

P.S. I’m also in IT

On the Freedom of the Seas in late January 2018, I asked the person selling drink packages near the Buffet, and they said no exceptions even though I told him I am diabetic and cannot drink alcohol. They wouldn't let me buy a non-alcohol package instead. At the pool bar, however, the bartender did let my husband buy the deluxe drink package and me buy the non-alcohol package. If you cannot get this done prior to the cruise, I suggest you try different bartenders.

Hello everyone.

Yesterday, I booked a Mediterranean cruise round trip from Southampton on Royal Caribbean in May 2018. I need to book flights soon. Can anyone give suggestions on what airport to use, Southampton or London? We are leaving (from Florida) a couple days early. The flights are cheaper into London. Have you flown to London and took a train or something to Southampton? Also, can you give some ideas on where to stay in Southampton? We prefer hotels, but I guess a B & B would be ok...never done that. Thank you. Any suggestions on airport and hotels are most appreciated.

What a great idea! I've been on about 10 or 11 cruises and never thought of this. This was the first NEW idea I've come across in this thread.

This is not a smuggling thread....of course the alcohol in these recipes will be pre-ordered through the appropriate channels.

 

1) Tequila, lemonade, sprite garnished with limes.

 

2) Rum, pineapple juice (now that we know it is available), orange juice and a shot of amaretto.

 

3) vodka and ice

Ours was on the RCCL Sovereign of the Seas about 10 years ago. It was a 4 night to the Bahamas. We were mostly impressed with the ship. We had no idea what to expect and when we walked onto the ship both of our jaws dropped in aww. It was stunning. We both loved it. I'm more hooked than DH. Although he loves to cruise he also loves some land vacations too.
