Thanks everyone for the answers, I guess we’ll have to get off together when we can

As Elite+ I believe we get priority tender tickets. Are we only allowed tickets for our own use or if we are going on a trip with others can we get tickets for them as well. If yes how many would we be allowed

have also sent an email regarding the increases
After writing this email last night I got a phone call this afternoon from the executive office. I reiterated what I said on the email and was told that they have had a numerous complaints and that the packages were getting reviewed. They asked which drinks I was most concerned about and off-hand I just mentioned Decoy and Conundrum. They could not tell me when the review was getting done.By the way I am in Scotland so it’s not just US that are getting phone calls

If you put in your payment details you may be able to change bids. You are not charged if you do not win the bid

We must remember that without a drinks package that $17 glass of wine is actually $20.40 with the gratuities which is disgraceful for a mediocre glass of wine

We are on Millie in February 24 does anyone know who the current cruise director is ? TIA
-
This is not true about NCL I just came off a NCL ship on Sunday and I overheard people talking about removing gratuities. I did not do this but know it can be done

That’s great news, hope you all have a wonderful cruise together

We enjoyed Le Bistro and Ocean Blue the best on Joy Teppanyaki was ok but very loud

When we booked our cruise there was an offer on for 3 points per night instead of 1. We have since upgraded our stateroom will we still get the extra points or will this be treated as a new booking ? I am sure at one time there was somewhere you could look to see what you were getting but I can’t remember where it was

That does seem a bit crazy that those are the items they removed. The only desserts that I will never eat are chocolate cake, carrot cake, and cheesecake... Just not fans. When we got out to eat there are rarely any other items on the dessert menu. Maybe ice cream. But chocolate cake and cheesecake do seem to be dessert staples. On a personal note, I would be quite happy with the apple pie or the creme Brule so I'm not upset about this change.
I am the same, in 15 Celebrity cruises I have never ordered the chocolate cake or the cheesecake. Not that I don’t eat desserts, just that there is always something I like better -

not listed

It wasn’t the cruises that were cancelled, it was cabins that had been double booked and some of those people were cancelled- 1

Can you use the NCL transfer if you have booked your own flights ?
-
Thank you both for your information, we will book flights from JFK ( they are cheaper anyway) and will definitely not stay an extra night ,which we had considered, do not want to get caught up in marathon frenzy 😀

We’re on a transatlantic cruise from the UK to New York in October. We’re from the UK so we’ll need to go through border control and passport checks etc. Is this done on the ship prior to arriving in New York or do we all need to queue when we get to the cruise port? If so, can anyone tell me how long this generally takes please as we need to catch a flight from Newark on the same day.
Which ship are you on ? we are on NCL Getaway in October , Southampton to New York and are trying to find out where we will be disembarking

Thank you, my husband checked on ‘ what’s in port’ and that was where we saw Getaway was docking, there. It is a transatlantic cruise from U.K. if that makes a difference. On our itinerary it says New York, New York. How can we find out for definite which port it will be ?

Does anyone know how much NCL charge for transfer from Cape Liberty to JFK airport. I have checked on my booking but I have to put in a flight number and time before they will tell me. I have not booked flights yet as I am trying to work out whether it is cheaper to book fromJFK including the transfer or to book from Newark which I know is closer to the port. We will be flying to Edinburgh in November . Thank you in advance for any info

Hi Tia. Actually you bougt CN (Cruise Next) vouchers. FCC is an entirely different animal and you can't buy it (except for someone else who has FCC and can't use it).Thank you for correcting me, but regardless of what they are called I managed to use 2 of them this morning

Thank you, I will book now and use 2 certificates.

I bought 4 FCC on my last cruise and now I can’t remember how many you can use at one time. I seem to recall something about doubling them up but not sure when or why you are able to do this. Sorry if this has been asked before but I am not a frequent NCL cruiser so do not read these boards so much. TIA for any information that I am given

Is there any chance of getting an espresso machine in a club balcony ?
-
We stopped in New York on a TA with Celebrity a few years ago. We were not allowed to buy liquor whilst docked in NY , only wine or beer. We heard it was because Celebrity would not pay the authorities the extra money to sell hard liquor ??
it was quite funny at the martini bar where they usually have the good drinks on display in the glass cabinets they had substituted them with cans of soda or bottles of beer- 1

Wow, that’s interesting m nobody has mentioned that before thank you

I’m sorry, but I don’t see the big problem with having 4 towels but no hand towels, just use one of the big towels for your hands. ( first world problems )
