SPECULATION:

Could Michele be on Freedom for a short contract to prepare for Europe and then return in May/June for the Summer in Barcelona? He's Italian and was AM on Oasis in Fall 2014, Allure for Summer 2015 and also started Harmony's run in Barcelona.

Or, he could stay on until after the TA and begin the European season, and then maybe Jerome could take over, as Clo's schedule on BR doesn't fit with his vacation schedule.

I sure hope Scarpato stays on Freedom for the April 23 Transatlantic sailing. We had him on Harmony and he was great. Hope we don't miss him.

I remember at the beginning of one cruise, we were eating at the buffet for LUNCH and had a very lovely conversation with one of the waiters in charge of our table. Very nice man! The rest of the cruise went by and we never saw him again... until the last day. He had been all over the ship trying to hunt us down (that's what he actually said! :o) and he gave us a piece of paper with his name, his assistant's name (we didn't even remember meeting her!) and then he told us to write a glowing review about how well he and his assistant treated us throughout the whole cruise! :confused:

We did end up giving the waiter a 10, just not his assistant. :cool:

Head's up! Just found out that Royal Caribbean is redeploying the Ovation of the Seas and many itineraries have been changed. They haven't made a formal announcement yet but stumbled upon the situation when I went to make a payment on an existing booking early this morning. And my clients already booked airfare! I hope Royal Caribbean does the right thing!

Has anyone else heard about this? We're supposed to go in May! :eek:

When I found out there weren't any formal nights, I figured everyone would just end up wearing the same thing all day. I do enjoy dressing fashionably every night.

I'm going on Ovation later this year and just want to make sure I won't be overdressed or under-dressed since there are no formal nights... I don't want this to turn into another "you should or shouldn't wear this or that" thread, I just want to know what your observation was in terms of what most people were wearing during the night. I would never consider getting permanent makeup. To anyone who thinks it will improve physical appearance: you don't look as bad without makeup as you think. We are our worst critics. ;)

And to those who think it saves time getting ready, well, it takes me a whole afternoon to plan my outfits! So taking an extra 15-20 minutes (I'm lying...it takes longer ;)) to apply my makeup is nothing. :D
