  1. We've decided to purchase the all inclusive restaurant and drink package. What happens to the 12 drink vouchers that are included in the Fantastica experience?

    - Can you pass them on to someone else?

    - Are these actual paper vouchers or are they virtual vouchers loaded on your cruise card?

    Thanks

  2. I've done a search but can't seem to find any posts that show drink menus or pricing for the Fantasia. Will be sailing at the end of May and curious about the Euro pricing as we're Canadian. We'll probably purchase a wine package for the dining room but would like to know individual prices for cocktails, beer, etc.

If anybody has this info would appreciate it - thanks!

  3. We are booked on the Feb. 25th and March 4th sailings of the Escape. Due to unusual circumstances, these were booked separately through different TA's with different reservations numbers.

Anyone know if NCL would treat these as a B2B and how changeover between the sailings would happen?

  4. So I'll share my experience from the free fall slide on the Getaway earlier this year. I'm a 55 year old male weighing around 155.

My first go at the slide was a thrill so I decided to try it again. This time I came to a stop just before the second drop and sat up to push myself along. All of a sudden there seemed to be a pressure change of some sort inside the slide and I started going backwards. I was moving pretty fast and became a bit disoriented but I was pretty sure I was heading backwards up the freefall part of the slide. I was thinking at this point I was either going to fly out the top or come to a screeching stop on the bottom of the drop floor! Either scenario wasn't sounding too good.

Then I stopped again and began moving forward, bottomed out & stopped once more, looked up and saw blue sky - the rescue door was open. So I climbed out, took a look around to see exactly where I was, and saw an attendant down below waving to me to stay where I was until he came up to unlock the exit gate.

I never did get a good explanation about what happened or why.

  5. Seems to work well for Canadians booked in CND $'s though. I have purchased multiple units for two of my upcoming cruises with the accurate exchange rate applied. I found that the first time when I booked online that it took awhile to receive the "amenity confirmation" so now I just call and it is done immediately. We are happy campers:)

Can also confirm that 2 recent online OBC gift purchases (Canadian $ booking) went through with no problems. Received instant confirmation from Celebrity and credit card reflected the correct Canadian dollar cost I was expecting.
