We did it. It was about a 30 minute walk along the beach. There was a strong current we were really tired at the end but it was ok. We are both reasonable swimmers. I would recommend you take fins.

Surely it would right itself by then and hopefully it was a one off thing. It was a great cruise you will really enjoy it and if the balcony didn't stink it would have been amazing- such a good space!

Two weeks ago we were on the cruise Sydney to Singapore and had the aft balcony 7668, there was only wafts of smell the first couple of days but when we got up the coast and the weather was warmer if you even opened the door the whole room smelled of sewage and the balcony was unusable. Royal Carribean's response was they would be able to fix it after the cruise. When walking around deck four the smell was also very strong but only on the left aft of the boat. If you were on the other side you would be fine as when we walked around deck 4 you couldnt smell it on the right. It was the most disgusting smell and it was there all the time one we hit Cairns.

Was on Voyager recently. 85 including gratuities. Last 4 days only wasn't in the compass but they had a stand outside the buffet.

Yes in the MDR. In specialty restaurants you can have multiple starters and desserts, but only one entree unless you pay extra.
You can use the beverage package in all restaurants.
The guys in our party often had 2 or 3 entrees and multiple starters in MDR and at Giovannis. Never had to pay extra. This was 2 weeks ago.

We just got off the Voyager. It was a very smooth sailing and we felt virtually no.motion. I usually take meds a whole cruise and needed none. We were in inside cabins deck 8 aft.

On the cruise we just got off our room steward had 15 rooms to service. He was pretty busy I don't think he could have managed more than that timewise.

There are usually lots of ship shuttles. Some public buses a short walk from where the ship docks but not that regularly.

looking on the Australian Royal Carribean site all but internal rooms are sold out, you might not have many choices! The Radiance is a lovely ship.

We were there a few weeks ago. Shops open. The lagoon was damaged and shut.

We just got off the Voyager and my parents had an aft Balcony for 2 people. 7688
if you are looking at one don't go on this side. There was a smell of sewerage for most of the cruise- you could smell it also when walking around the track on deck 4 (it was worse when the weather was humid). The smell got inside the room whenever you opened the door. Royal Carribean weren't very helpful about it. the smell wasn't on the other side of the ship.

It must vary between cruises. We just got off the boat 2 days ago. Drink of the day was $9.50. drinks packages were cocktails up to $14 and cocktails were either 11.50, $14 or $17
The last 4 days they sold cards in the Star lounge 10 cocktails for $85 (up to $14) and the whole cruise 2 bars had $5 Heineken pints.

We are locals and if you were choosing between the two I would choose Milford Sound and Queenstown.

How do RCL advise future passengers of when a drinks package is on sale for pre purchase? I am on Voyager departing April and have checked the website daily for months and the alcohol package has never changed from $69AUD per day. How does everyone else get the specials?
We are on the voyager in April as well
They were on special about a month ago for around 59aud a day. It was a 4 day sale and I received an email about it.

Hi,
Is anyone able to tell me what the current cost is for the cruise shuttle (Voyager of the seas or any RCL) from the Brisbane grain terminal into the city?
We have a big family so just trying to work out if it's worth leaving the boat and I understand apart from taxis there is no public transport at the grain terminal.
thank!
