    I figured they probably were.

It's too bad they aren't putting information out there for their western guests (or at least emaling it out to those booked in the next few weeks on those sailings)

I spoke to RCCL this morning and they are offering refunds to Chinese Nationals on our sailing (15 Feb from Singapore)  Apparently 30% of the guests are Chinese.  What about about the remainder of the guests from around the world?

The concierge lounge is not busy at all. We were absolutely exhausted yesterday after a long day in port so I forgot to ask at Coastal Kitchen about Junior Suites. Will try to remember today.

    Hi Corinna

Any news re: Junior Suites using Coastal kitchen for dinner?

    Thanks Sandy

  3. We are looking at this Cruise as part of a trip including India and China. When I looked up the ship it says that these cruises 'have our Chinese guests in mind'  What does this mean. Will announcements be made in various Chinese dialects.  Will the food in the different restaurants change.  Unfortunately there is no further information.  We will not be booking with Royal directly as this cruise is wrapped up with the land tours and flights.  However I am concerned

Thank you to anyone who knows more than I do

  4. We are elite plus members and I was under the impression that we could change our mind about taking a cruise and get a refund on our deposit before final payment.  I have just been told by Celebrity that this is not the case and no deposits are refundable.  I am aware that we can make one change and assign our deposit to another cruise.  Unfortunately that is not what I wish to do.

Has anyone managed to get the deposit refunded

    Thanks in advance

  5. We are going to be on Allure on the Seas for 7 days and then transferring to Celebrity Silhouette for 7 days, both leaving from Port Everglades. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a shuttle between ships? We could queue for a taxi but I doubt if the drivers would be willing to take passengers going a few hundred yards and give up a far of possibly many miles!

    Help please

  6. I know that in general, cars are larger in the US than in UK. Does this apply to Uber categories?

We are two people arriving at Miami International and going to Port Everglades area Fort Lauderdale. We will have 3 pieces of hold baggage (large but not huge!) and one cabin wheelie case. Will an Uber X be big enough as the cost of XL appears to be same as a taxi/car service.

Thanks as always for all the knowledge out there

  7. I have a general Uber question. We are flying into Miami from UK and need to get to Fort Lauderdale.

Is there any way of calling an Uber on our mobiles (as in speaking) as we can make calls in US but have no data.

I have tried using the wifi previously in the airport and it was useless. If I buy a sim card it will cost much more than the difference in a Car hire service and Uber.

Hopefully someone will know if its possible. Thanks in advance

  8. We are new to RCI (gaining our Diamond Status by being Elite+ on Celebrity)

Are spirits served in the Diamond lounge such as Jim Beam or Jack Daniels or a selection of Gins?

Is there a decent selection of wines available?

If I understand it we would be allowed to order in dining venues (if within time limit) or carry a glass into dinner with us?

Thanks in advance for the info

  9. Can anyone tell me the difference between D1-8 balcony cabins apart from cost. I know that some will have larger balconies due to a hump, but there most of these grades are on all decks.

Btw 10582 was the only one available for our very first sailing on Allure and RCI

    Thanks in advance

  10. We have just booked our first RCI cruise. We will be on Allure in February. We booked a superior ocean view balcony and the only one available was 10582 which I understand is a D6. There would appear to be D grades from 1-8. Most of them appear on many decks so I would like to know what is the difference (apart from some on humps with larger balconies)

    Thank you all in advance
