Is it possible to order a bottle of liquor not on the Bon Voyage menu? I had always hear this was doable, but just got off the phone with Bon Voyage and the CSR basically said "If it's not on the menu, we can't order it".

She mentioned another possibility - order a bottle delivered to the room after boarding the ship. Unfortunately, I can't possibly know if they will be carrying that brand or if this will even be allowed.

Anyone have experience with either of these approaches?

Going in April on the Sensation and wanting to purchase either Tanqueray or Beef Eater gin. Bombay is currently the only gin listed on Bon Voyage (not the worst, just not our first choice).

Under the new Carnival fare pricing, Early Saver is only offered if there is not another sale going on with a lower cruise rate price. I called Carnival just last night to ask when Early Saver would be back for my May 2014 cruise and that's what I was told. If there is currently a promotion going on for your sail date, that is why you aren't seeing Early Saver.

It's offered, just not in all categories. It starts in 8B and the category I booked is 8A. I had to book under Past Guest. (edited my original post to clarify)

ES is the lowest cruise rate price on that booking right now, with PG about $100 higher.

Just had to reschedule my cruise and I can't get my usual category (8A) under Early Saver fare. I had to book 8A using Past Guest. I could book 8B using ES, but not 8A.

Has anyone heard of this? Is this new, for Sunshine only or just a glitch? :confused: I am booking April 2015, which is pretty far out.

I contacted Carnival and they confirmed that they do NOT have GF soya sauce. Does anyone have the website that sells the little packets?

Minimus.com used to, but I see they don't any longer. Amazon has some.

I got some GF Tamari packets from our grocery store. I have also simply taken a small 3 oz. travel-sized squeeze bottle of my Tamari. :)

Oohh, upstate NY, bbrrr! You guys get hit with alot! You're always on the Weather Channel. We're in metro Detroit. The last two winters here have been very cold.

Yesterday, I was on the phone to Carnival and couldn't hear what the Rep was saying because our radiators were heating up and hissing loudly. Had to laugh, it seemed like a sign to get to someplace warm and sunny! Today, though, record high (48F) predicted. Go figure!

Looking at sometime from last weekend in December through third week of January-ish. Will either append a cruise to a stay in the Keys or cruise first, and go to Keys after.
