I booked dining for our group for most nights in the MDR prior to 7/1. (I guess there was a small window of time before they shut this down until 7/1.) I booked Love By Britto on 7/2. We sail on the Sun on 11/30.

Same here.
But I am trying it Once at $79 pp instead of $149 pp.
Us too. I had no plans to try it at $149pp but it seems like a fun experience to try at $79 pp. Looking forward to it.

I was able to book Spellbound for our 11/30 sailing last night. Good luck!

I love seeing these in advance of my cruises, so here are the dailies from my POA cruise 4/6/24-4/13/24.
(I also wrote a review in the reviews section.)
Happy travels!
P.S. I am not the most frequent CC user, so if you post a question and I don't answer, I'm not ignoring you; I am just not on the site.
P.P.S. Our day 7 was changed because all excursions were canceled on Kauai due to intense rain (12"!) the night prior. The attached is the original schedule.

Aaaaaand the wi-fi in the terminal is down. They’re literally attempting to sift through printed manifests on paper to get some people through security and checked in while the IT people work on the wi-fi. Oof.
We're waiting too. It definitely is not the workers fault that the wifi is down but it seems crazy that there is no good backup plan... Hardware? Can they use my hotspot? 🙂

I think the rules prohibit linking to other sites, but I found a bunch through a Google images search. (A few months old, but that was OK for my purposes.)

Thanks so much to all who answered my question. I know enforcement differs across ships so knowing what's actually happening on the ships is super helpful.
We're on the Joy on 7/9, can't wait!!

Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked and answered recently.
Are door decorations allowed on the Joy? Some boards said no, others said no for specific ships, and NCL's site didn't say anything I could find. Thanks!!!

Thank you Paul for posting that link. It's good food for thought.

I'm sorry about the passing of your friend's husband. This is not the first time I've heard of something like this happening.

I've been on the Gem twice so the Escape's room service may be different. My hubby and I are not picky eaters and we found the room service food for breakfast to be pretty terrible. One of us would go to the Garden Buffet to get breakfast and trek it back to the room which worked well; we would then enjoy it on the balcony. Gem is smaller than Escape so that may not be practical but it is just an idea. Have fun!!

Like most have said, I am yes/ no
I agree with a few of the posters who noted that the amount of smoke on ships has decreased dramatically over the past several years. I remember when ships used to be floating ashtrays, this has improved so much. The casino is still smokey but that's true of most casinos.

Thank you all. Hopefully that voyage was a fluke, quite relieved.

I went on the Gem last summer (7 nights) and had a perfectly lovely time. My husband booked us for a 10 day cruise on her and I have one small concern... By the last full day of the cruise, the main pool was dirty and a bit stinky. Do they clean the pool (or drain and refill) at any point during the 10 days? Thank you!

It's been years since I've been on a cruise and I'm wondering if midnight buffets are a thing of the past or if I should expect to see a midnight buffet at some point during my 7 night Allure cruise this coming July?
Wow- I haven't been on a cruise in about 10 years and didn't realize that had changed! I'm glad you asked this question! (Not that there is any chance I'd starve, but they were fun to at least look at.)

Ugh, sorry. I missed the 2025 in your post. We sail this year. Sorry about that.
