  1. I will have the current Alaska 7-day menus on my website in about two weeks. All Lido Market, MDR and late snacks organized by each day. Will also have all bar menus, Room Service, and Specialty Restaurant menus long before you cruise.

These are awesome, thank you! Do you know how the menus work for a 7 day Caribbean cruise? I see your menus for the 10- and 11-day Caribbean cruises... do they have anything in common with the 7 day?

I'm going on a 7 day cruise, so I was looking for a menu for a 7 day, and I wasn't sure if yours would have anything in common with it.

    Thank you!

  2. It does always surprise me when I see negative responses to stuff... Why waste the time criticizing? In this case, commenting that you must've had tons of time seems hypocritical. Why did they have enough time to read the spreadsheet then comment that it was foolish? How was that a good use of time?

Anyway, as a planner, I *love* stuff like this. Good job, and ignore the grouchy people!

  3. We've spent some time in the casino and I can't say I've seen either of these but I will be there tonight I'm sure and will check for you. They have the typical "quick hit" "wheel of fortune" and the random celebrity games covering movies, etc. our favorite is quick hit with the wheel, so I understand the curiosity lol! I'll check and report back.

Thank you!!! I appreciate you checking. I definitely have better luck with some, and not others... Wheel of Fortune is my Wheel of MISfortune! I love to watch other people play that one, though!

    :)

  4. Thanks so much for bringing us along! I love your videos and your summaries of your day... Keep it up!

Here's a random question... Can you check out the casino slot machines? There's two in particular I'm looking for: Hex Cat and Texas Tea.

I know that's very random and nit-picky, but if you're hanging out in the casino, I'd appreciate knowing if they're there!

(They're my favorites, as they are really the only ones I've ever actually won on...)

  5. Today I had a somewhat ridiculous wait time... twice. First was at work, where I was on hold for 28 minutes when the call was disconnected. Annoying.

But this evening, I was on hold for 67 minutes before 1st contact with anyone. 67 minutes. To reach a rather apathetic and unhelpful woman. She couldn't help me, so I was transferred again, and had to wait, again, and added 22 minutes to my wait time, for a total of 89 minutes.

I am okay waiting for up to 20 minutes, patiently, but this was insane and the hold information/music/Visa advertisement loop is WAY too short.

Not sure what's up with X and their customer service, but they need to figure it out and get it addressed.

  6. Is there a limit of how many drinks or $'s worth one can have a day or per cruisel with the Classic Alcohol package. Question seems to simple to ask but...

From reading random other boards, no. There's only $ per drink limit, like beers that cost up to $5, wine up to $8 a glass, etc.

They may have you slow down if you're drinking too many alcohol drinks and obviously intoxicated, but they would do that regardless of how you're paying.

  7. On our Dec 28 2013 Eclipse cruise, our 18 yr old son had the SeaPass card with the basketball and stars symbol in the upper right hand corner (see 2nd card below). His card is stamped with an "M2" designation which presumably is for minors that are still under 21 yrs old (but at least 18). During this cruise as an 18 yr old, he was allowed to play in the casino but could not be served alcohol.

Presumably there is an "M1" designation for minors that are under 18.

languageartslady, as requested, here is a photo of two of our SeaPass cards from our recent cruise. The "CALL" designation under package type on the first card is for the Classic Alcohol Beverage Package:

Perfect! Thank you! I like how it's changed, and I was also wondering about the package information, which I see on yours. You answered both! :)

  8. "Celebrity seapass" on Google Image. Curious why you want to see one, though.

I enjoy looking at menus, photos, dailies, etc in order to get excited for my upcoming cruise, and to survive when stuff is stressful at work. It's been awhile since I've been on a Celebrity cruise, so I was curious about the changes. Plus, I have a beverage package (like practically everyone else), and I was curious about what it looked like on the card. I am more familiar with the soda package. I had read one of the innumerable boards about the packages and I saw it mentioned it is listed on the card.

Ergo, I was curious, and since I wasn't finding what I wanted on the boards or google, I asked here. :)

  9. Sorry for asking, but I've searched and not found my answer, so I'm either bad at searching, or no one has said.

How do they know you have the package? Do they swipe your card each time? Or is it like the soda package where they print a symbol or stick a sticker on your card?

If it's a printed thing on your card, does anyone happen to have a picture of the card? Curious to see what it looks like!

Thanks for any and all help! :)

  10. Deck - Continental - 6

    Cabin # - 6202

Class – 07 - obstructed view with balcony

Starboard or Port Side - starboard

Bed near?(balcony or bath) – Bath

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Very quiet. Never a problem with noise

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Obstructed view, but I don't think it was a big deal... you couldn't see straight down, but if you were seated, you could look straight over the lifeboat, and partially between the supports (on the left of the balcony). View slightly better in #6200. I liked the bed next to the bath arrangement better, since the sofa next to the sliding door was nice.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal sized balcony

Was wind a problem? Never noticed any issues

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? No

Any other comments? This seemed to be a perfect location! Just a few cabins down from the elevators, easy to get to.
