This happened last Thursday, 5/21/09, in St Lucia. The shipped had just docked and people were lining up for their excurrsions on the pier. My wife looked up and stated saying "Oh MY God!" over and over. So of course we all looked up. There on a balcony on Veranda Deck (this would have been one of our nieghbors) was a man COMPLETELY NAKED having his wife spray on sunscreen. There most of been 500 or 600 of us on the pier and we alll stated to laugh. They guy goes back inside his stateroom for a minute then comes back out onto the balcony, still naked. There is no way that he did not know that we all were watching. I got a great shot of it. I wanted to get it printed off and post it on his cabin door. But I didn't.

A friend of ours taught my husband to say, I am sorry, please forgive me, you are right! I kind of like it, even though he is sarcastic when he says it!:rolleyes:;)[/quote
Or there is the Red Green saying: "I'm a man, I'm sorry, I can change,... If I have too" or something to that effect. :rolleyes::cool:

Three secrets to a long and happy marriage, son..
* Yes, Dear
* No, Dear
* Anything you say, Dear
and then you go right out and do what needs to be done, okay? :)
Yeaahh she'll grumble (they all do)
but you take her out to dinner someplace nice like...

You'll have the cards forever: money well spent!
Carry all your lesser-capacity cards as well.
Did you get into the camera's Menu yet?
-to lower the Image Size from Humongous to Quite-Big-Enough?

May 20th will be our 20th. So don't I know it.

As cheap as you can get them online now it's a no brainer...get more cards. :D
Picked up my 2GB SD card at Wal-mart for less than $12. Might grab at least one more with out DW knowing. Once I have it she will have to live with it.:D Did I say that:eek:

We are going to be in San Juan on Sat, 5-16-09. We are staying at the Sheraton Old San Juan. If you look at the shots on this thread from the ship looking back at San Juan the Sheraton is a creamy/yellowish hotel to the left. People have posted that they were charge extra fees when they went to check out. But they all seem to have booked with Priceline, Hotwire ect. We have booked directly with the Sheraton (paid a little more) but we haven't found anyone who did that has had the extra charges.My husband just booked this cruise for 12/13/2009. It will be hectic to be gone the week before Christmas, but after seeing and reading about this cruise....who cares! I can get most everything that needs to be done before we leave and whatever is left.....oh well. Plus weather in the Midwest is usually getting darn cold by then...not to mention freezing rain, ice storms, and snow.I cannot wait. We plan on arriving in San Juan day before. Any thoughts on a good hotel near the port? We usually explore on our own, but was wondering if anyone has ever did the pre-cruise shore excursions offered through Carnival?
Cannot wait for some of you to post after you cruise. It is going to be fun reading this thread.

As for the precruise excurrsions, MY personal belief is that you would be better off to book them thru the hotel. Once you have made your reservations, contact the hotel directly and they can help you out.
Being from Denver I KNOW exactly what you mean about the weather in Mid December. You will have a blast. DW and I think about a Christmas/New Year cruise every year. Just haven't done it yet.

That is what I keep telling DW.:D But everytime I bring it up her eyes roll faster. :rolleyes: They are already spinning like slot machines. If she rolls her eyes any faster I'm afraid she is going to hurt something.:eek:I have 2-2GB for my camera and Amy has 3, so we don't have to take the lap top to download them. We may need more for this trip.:cool:

And when you return, please remember us
and post some of your pictures here.
I get tired seeing my own stuff all da time!
Hey look...there's the cable-cars poles again..going up the hill!
Five of them this time.
Maybe they added one, while we weren't looking? :D
.
Seeing your photos inspired me to up grade to a 2GB memory card.:D Much to DWs rolling eyes:eek:. Hope that is enough memory:rolleyes:, might need a second card.:rolleyes:
I beleive the cable cars go up to Paradise Point? Back in 04 we went up and it was like $5 per person, DW read that it is up to $15 per person now. It is a great view and photo op but $15 each seems a little steep.
We will sail on the 17th. Som, I hope to add some photos on the 25th. Just wish I can live up to the standard you have set.

Sorry nothing from the kids' areas.
At the age of 59, they're not likely to let me in :cool:
........................
I just came across this cool balcony shot...wife woke me up "Come see this! There's an island out there!"
It was St. Kitts
.
Shots like this mean I have to set the alarm VERY early. Don't want to miss any of these views. I just love the one looking back along the ship with the island in the distance. Only 7 more days.
Do you have any shots of the Lido Deck roof closed? Is it glass?

Love your shots Aplmac. I check them out everyday, only have 9 days till DW and I sail on the Victory and 8 untill we are in OSJ. Don't know if your photos are making the time go faster or slower. But I have to have my Victory Fix everyday so keep them coming.
Since you live in Barbados, what is your opinion of the "Swim with the turtles" excursions? DW and I will be celebrating our 20th in Barbados and that is what she really wants to do. Which is funny since the baby turtles scared her in Grand Cayman 2 years ago. As for me anything that puts me into the water is OK with me.

We are with you NCTribeFan. We loved all the islands and especially Antigua, :):(. Valentine was a great tour guide, and the people and beaches were wonderful. But you are right, six islands in one week is a bit much, and the trip back to Denver was LONG to say the least.
Your idea of B2B with three islands each would be a blast. Spending a day in SJ before, in the middle and after the cruise would be a great way to see more of the island.
