We took the hop on hop off bus several years ago and will do it again this summer.  I do not remember the price, but it was very reasonable.

We were able to get Argentinian Pesos at our bank.  BBVA in Houston. 

Are you doing it on your own or with a tour company?

I love the glacier cruises out of Whittier and I love the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. So for me, it'd be a great day. Although I would probably do my glacier cruise with Major Marine or Lazy Otter. And I'd rather do it on my own with a rental car than on a tour.

Thank you for your thoughts. We are waitlisted with the ships 26 glacier tour so I'm trying to find an alternative.

Has any one been on the 26 Glacier Cruise & Alaska Wildlife conservation center tour out of Anchorage? If so, what did you think? Was 10 1/2 hours too long?
