  1. Beautiful dress - great color for you!!! We were on the Oasis last month and will be doing a b2b on her in 2013. Did you like the Oasis? Jan

I loved the Oasis. My sister and I already booked the Allure for Nov 2012 - before we even stepped foot on the Oasis. We had been on Liberty of the Seas, and knew we would love Oasis. Don't know if friends will be joining us again, but I wanted to lock in a good price. We're paying the same for the Allure next year as we did for Oasis this year.

  2. You look beautiful in both dresses....but the BLUE one is gorgeous on you!!! :p May I ask where you bought it?

I tried it on in Nordstroms, then bought it for alot less on ebay! Nordstroms was also out of all the pretty colors. In store, they only had coral, and online they only had black or grey. I felt amazing wearing it, and even posed for a pic with the gorgeous captain we had (see pic). Can't wait to wear it again on the Allure a year from now.

  3. Picked this up this week. Wanted something other than black because I already had 2 different black dresses. Now I am ready to pack!

I like Donna Ricco. I have a black satin spaghetti strap sheath dress by her which I'm wearing on my cruise this upcoming weekend. I bought it a couple of years ago at Marshalls for about 1/3 the full price!

  4. Whats really difficult for me to understand is when the best free dinners are (lobster and steak) and when the best free parties are (white hot, jazz band, spiceH2o's biggest night) because i dont want to make reservations to pay restaurants and parties (cirque dreams, ice bar) on the coolest "free" nights!

What makes it worse is if you dont reserve quickly and pick dates without knowing youll miss out all together

    Anyone have any advice ?

I just happened to pick it right when I made reservations. What I would suggest is that you make your reservations, then right after you get on board, go to the Guest Services counter to see if they can tell you when certain events are. You really don't want to miss the White Hot Party or the Fabba party. If they can tell you, you can then change your reservations accordingly right away. All week long we kept hearing announcements about availability in lots of the shows, so it doesn't seem like anything was fully booked. Maybe Cirque, because it's a small venue. The Epic theater was filled in the mid-section, but empty in the right and left side seats.

The parties were fun. White Hot Party, Fabba, and Zouk were all themed dance parties and meant to be fun. Silas Cook, the Cruise Director does an excellent job, as does his crew.

Hey... So glad you had a great time...

I am on the Eastern, what day was the White Hot Party and the other parties? More interested in the White Hot Party... I have the Blue Man Group reserved for Saturday, heard that is the best time to go due to everybody trying to get a fill of ship... When I booked the Blue Man I forgot about the parties... I do not want to miss the White Hot Party...:p don't know anything about the others... but would be interested in going to those too...

I was the eastern leg of this trip (9/25-10/2). I'm trying really hard to remember which night White Hot was. I'm pretty certain it was Sunday. Only because I remember it was the dress up or not night, I had dressed up, then changed to more casual later. That was the only night I had changed, and it was into the outfit I had on in my photos from the White Hot Party. However, they may change the nights that they have the different deck parties. I'm not sure that it's constant for the Western Carib and Eastern Carib. Maybe check with Guest Services when you board. We did Blue Man Sat. night as well, the early show. Then dinner. Glad we did the early show so we were free to attend the Welcome Aboard party on deck later.
