  1. The shop was so poorly stocked on our October Cruise . The staff didnt know if or when new stock was coming and there was barely any perfume other than Chanel. Had a whole shelf of cheaper perfumes (about 25 bottles of Happy) but no testers and they said they couldnt offer a tester. Staff really didnt seem interested in selling the little they had left. There were no real offers for UK as the exchange rate made all the perfumes more expensive than home. 

  2. Maybe its a more British thing? We always love to play on a cruise and were disappointed there was no shuffleboard on Sky.Often found people playing. 😀 Felt quite sad that the old traditions are being lost.

  3. The system for shows appears to have changed in that the cast no longer remain on board. In a 25 night cruise we only had 2 shows one at the beginning and one later on after the performers transferred from another ship so it likely changes according to the area the ship is in. The shows were excellent but was sorry to not see more.

  4. We have had the same issue. We were told we would get FCC for a Baltics cruise cancelled in March and a refund of the balance within 30 days. However this never materialized and we had intended to use it to book a cruise for May but were unable to rebook. We have now managed to transfer to a September cruise as we had the FCC in mid June but Princess lost out as they would have had the money for another too. The FCC was not appearing on the account in personaliser and still isnt.

  5. Following cancellation of our cruise in April I recieved my FCD immediately which is showing in the personaliser. However the FCC is not showing at all and is due to be applied to our Sept cruise. My TA is trying to sort but it does seem odd they havent shown it when other FCC is there for earlier cancelled cruises. Havnt had the refund either & nor has TA

  6. I had an ongoing battle to get obc as I wasnt able to produce a share certificate other than the original as I didnt get a statement last year due to no dividends. They wouldnt accept anything pre 2021 so I had to get a letter from Equiniti. Having sent that in they still refused saying it wasnt in my name ? It was clearly there but I have no idea what they were doing & in the end I asked them to escalate to a formal complaint. This was in Feb for a May cruise but they also added the obc to the Sept cruise. Thank goodness as I was dreading going through it all again. I think in the end I had sent 6 emails

  7. I requested my obc with the latest statment I have which is 2020 as I didnt get one in 21 presumably as there were no dividends. Princess returned my request advising I need a more up to date statment so be aware your proof needs to be fairly current. I have to contact Equiniti to obtain something to confirm I still hold shares I guess.

     

     

  8. I was so disappointed to find I too had been upgraded on my Oct cruise. My own fault as I usually choose no upgrade & probably forgot in my excitement at the idea of cruising again. I had an aft balcony on C Deck - C735 which their deck plan shows as 250sq ft & have been 'upgraded to a mid aft BB grade which shows as 220 sq ft . Horrible error on my part and unable to find the time to hang on the phone long enough to ask for my original cabin back so will be too late & lesson learned. First upgrade in 15 cruises & never used to choose no upgrade so serves me right🙁

  9. I am still unable to upload any docs - phones are i phone 6 so not working, ipad min 2 is too out of date but husbands brand new i pad also wont allow am just on the verge of giving up. Calling princess seems to result in hanging on the phone an age for uk no so will try the email. Hard to believe this is still an issue after so many months. Glad Princess are not my bank :classic_smile:

  10. Last week I rang the number for shore excursions from the website, having hung on 15 minutes to get an answer they told me I had a wrong number & gave me a totally different one. Needless to say they were not interested in reporting that there was an incorrect no on the website & told me they had no involvement with whats online. Def rang the website no as I checked after. Luckily the shore excursion team were more efficient

  11. I have used Quidco for a cruise booking & have recieved payment. Took 5 months but still worth it as far as I'm concerned. True that some purchases dont track but I just file a claim & never had a problem getting paid. I would definitely recommend it. Its a simple transaction for free cash so nothing to lose.

  12. We were allocated Cinnamon on our cruise in Sept but took us 2 nights to realise that we had it wrong & had gone to Saffron on Ventura. We apologised but they said it didnt matter so we swapped about and no one minded as we did ask a couple of times.

  13. The dictionary definition:a person, typically a man, who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities

     

    Presumably they may well have noble qualities & in my opinion michelin stars count as outstanding achievements so I dont have a problem & am sure it doesnt detract in any way from other heroes.
