Tell him you've arranged his marriage and you're going to pick up his bride. Hope you have a wonderful time and pull off the surprise. I would have already blown it and told him!

Thank you for the quick and clear answer. But that makes me ask one other question. Can folks below diamond status request disembarkation for around the same time as Diamond? (for the meeting up in the terminal option)
Erika
You always have the option of walking off with your luggage. You can all leave the ship together before regular debarkation starts.

Last time I was there, it was 20- 25 bucks a carton. But make sure you're aware of how many you can bring back so you don't have an issue with customs

Have a drink in the rising tide bar, and ask the bartender if you can buy the 'live the. Allure" book. It has some neat facts and figures and makes a great souvenir

It's not a wipeout cafe like on oasis, it's just a wipeout bar....they only serve drinks

We stayed in9500 on the explorer. Not sure if the square footage is different, but we just loved the cabin. It was huge, and the kids loved having their own space complete with storage .we loved having a real sitting are and the forward facing windows were so nice when we were coming into port .
It was a bit of a walk, but it was well worth the trip

Yes.yes, yes. Make sure you're on the highest deck going under the varazzano bridge!
And remember, you go under it coming back to, and it's much less crowded!

Yes, the shows are better on Oasis and Allure. I have to agree with you, I keep trying to go to the shows but after day 3 I can't take any more. I do enjoy the comedy shows. I find that the singing and dancing is very boring and repetitious.
The big ships have the broadway type shows, the dive show and much better props.

My advice would be that you take your diamond status and transfer yourself to Elite on Celebrity. They charge a little more, and do have lots of those little things that you're looking for.
I found the food to be a little better, the ships a little more tastefully furnished, etc.
If you're not interested in the rock wall, the zip line or the flow rider, give it a try.

Great pictures. The trampoline looks like fun...and much less scary than a zipline!

I've read on various threads over the years that you can't Skype on the ship's wifi. You can certainly iMessage, just be careful if you are paying by the minute, as you will have to make sure your device is disconnected when you're done!

It depends on the cruise line. If you do a search, I think Royal is more resistant to this than NCL or Carnival. I would call the lines directly and book with the line you find t be most helpful.

We did make a stop at a rest area on the highway. We got there about 1

I took an entours bus from Boston. There were only about 8 of us, all going on the same ship. It was nice to meet people ahead of time.

I certainly wouldn't book the JS just to get to platinum. It's more a stepping stone toward diamond. I'm at 43 points and was thinking of doing an 11 day JS to get to emerald just to get the bump. But I also get the balcony discount.

In st Thomas , grab a cab to sapphire beach. It's not crowded and the snorkeling is excellent. It will run you about twenty bucks each way, you can rent chairs when you get there.
