Yes, our ship arrives back in Miami but we fly out of FLL so we thought renting a car and exploring would be good.

Our flight home does not leave until 8pm and we plan to rent a car for the day. We will have lots of time and I am looking for ideas. Does anyone have suggestions for fun daytime activities in FLL? Thanks!

A huge thank you to everyone!! We decided on the Elation since we get the extra day. I will post a review when we get back- we sail April 8th.

This will be our 15th cruise overall but I have never been on either of these ships. If you are familiar with either the Elation or the Liberty, I would love your opinion. The ports are the same, I am just trying to determine which ship would be better. We love laying out and gambling at night. This will be a trip for DH and myself. Thanks!

This excursion sounds fantastic! I will be traveling with my 15 year old son and we love to cook. Would it be appropriate for he and I to cook together? I think it sounds like so much fun!

We got back on October 5th but it has taken me a week or so to get back into the swing of things.

I will be posting my review and copies of the fun times. To summarize the trip, here are the details:

Three adults and one 13 year old in a balcony cabin #9358

We traveled to Miami through the Fort Lauderdale airport and we used Jiffy Jeff for transportation (awful choice!)

Our itinerary was a 8 day traveling to Grand Turk (hung out at the beach and pool at Margaritaville), La Romana (Just walked around the port and then enjoyed an empty ship for the day), Curacao (Trolley tour through the ship) and Aruba (went shopping, took the public bus to the beach- loved it!).

On our final day we stayed at the Rodeway Inn and Suites at Fort Lauderdale Airport for their "Day Room" since our flight left after 8pm. Many details about that hotel to come.

Here are the fun times from day one. Enjoy!

Is there any news about a band on the Legend?

I would love it if Music Asia could be put on the Legend- we saw them on the Valor in 2009 and LOVED them!!! :) I wish we could vote!!!
