We took the ferry, and just wandered around the town- bought some real cheap beers and had cheap massages. I also love to look in Supermarkets in every country I go to. Just to see how the locals live.

I've noticed on  the Ponant site  that our stop in Igomenitsa has been replaced by Corfu. I think this is like a free upgrade, as I was struggling to find anything to do at Igomenitsa. However I find it a little odd, that I only came across it by chance, while looking at shore excursions at other ports. Will we ever be told by Ponant? So far I find their site pretty underwhelming, hard to get info. Even all the port days just say eg "arrive early am depart late afternoon"  Hoping the cruise is all we are hoping it to be.

We just booked, our Cruise Next expires 5 days before our next cruise. Our agent said she had to get in reinstated. However we are now booked, didn't know about a promo, but we didn't think NCL would deny 2 bookings for a matter of 5 days out of date.

Carnival Spirit on the current cruise ex Sydney Mar 8 overnighted Melbourne- then heading for a part day in Hobart. I would think next cruise will be similar. My friends on board got off and went home. Their first ever cruise.

No questions ,just waiting for more! 24 days til we board in Rome

Bogan or not, I often find that in the US or on US cruise ships, we do have a language barrier. Who knew? I agree Ranga is in very common usage,post #2 who spells it wranger appears to not know where it originates from. Generally a term used with affection, can be substituted for Fanta Pants.

Without doubt the best, most detailed review. Makes me a bit intimidated to do mine. Haha, Im sure I will. Maybe some of the vendors will chip in for your next Hawaii trip?? I am booking Sea Quest and the Molokini trip you took.

I was counting down to our Christmas trip, but now am a bit distracted- Ok its OT - but I got tickets to Oprah in Sydney on DEc 14th!!!!!!

Wow what an effort, much appreciated by the way, how did you have time to holiday? It appears you must have been taking lots of notes. Thank you so much, we leave in 2 months and getting so excited. Also my husband has gone off to bed sulking, as I said I just had to read this review. And my 7 month old Lab chewed up a shoe, that was almost broken in to be my cruise shoes! As I was a bit distracted. Loving the photos also.
