  1. Jim_P and bluemarble,

Thanks for your replies. I now have a glimmer of hope (I was going to give up!) and will hopefully get some joy from the Australian Cruise Agency or Cunard tomorrow.I did see on Cunards website that it wasn't showing sold out, the prices were there, but you couldn't  click to book.

    Thanks,

    Anjo.

Note too that availability on this will be slim, and only filling a void for passengers leaving the previous cruise in Auckland instead of Sydney. It currently shows that only Princess Grill suite(s) guarantees as available.

Glad to see QM2 on another world voyage after missing a year but the itineraries for Australia are shockingly bad. Given that they pulled Queen Elizabeth out of the region with promises that the Australian market would still be important as part of world voyages they could have thrown us a bone. My options are fly to New Zealand for only a five night cruise back to Australia, or embark in Sydney and have to go all the way to China.

I live in NZ, only saw this 5 day cruise on Queen Mary Auckland/Sydney on 8th March, seems like the cabins are long gone😭

  3. Hi everyone,

Recieved an email regarding this cruise from an Australian  Cruise Agency on Thursday 7th March. This segment is part of the 2026 World cruise. I live in NZ and am keen to book a Britannia inside stateroom. I realise there will be very limited cabins, but can't  seem to find any available, even on Cunard website. Are they likely to be all sold already considering they were only released on Friday? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Anjo.

  4. Good Morning,

I know there are lots of opinions on this.

Going around Australia on Coral Princess in October, I  know we tend to be more informal down under, but does my Husband need to take a suit, or will a jacket, or a long sleeved shirt and nice tie suffice for Formal nights.

I also know we don't  have to go to the main Dining room for Formal nights, but we would like to without feeling uncomfortable.

    TIA  Anjo.

  5. Hi Everyone,

The title probably says it all. Going around Australia in October 2023, on Coral Princess do we have to use the Medallion App? Prefer a card for our cabin, can walk to order drinks, don't need to know where my husband is, and don't  want all the other so called advantages. Just would like an old fashioned cruise experience. Can we do all the pre boarding paperwork on the computer before we go?

    Thanks

    Anjo.

  6. Morning,

Could someone please tell me about the bidding system for upgrades. Do you simply pay what is on the email or put in what you are happy to pay. First time we have been offered it.

    Thanks.
