They told us who were going all the way from Aqaba to Dubai that our Muscat to Dubai leg has been cancelled.

Finally got a Commnication from Silversea early this morning. See the entirety of it below:
Dear Esteemed Guest,
We hope this letter finds you well. Today, we are writing with important news regarding your 06 January 2024 voyage aboard Silver Moon.
First and foremost, please know the safety and security of our guests and crew are always our top priority. Our global security team continues to closely monitor and respond to the evolving crisis in Israel and the surrounding region. As such, we will not be visiting Egypt during your voyage. In light of this update, our call in Muscat has been extended to include an overnight stay and we have reshuffled the order of the ports to visit.
You can visit your MySilversea account in the coming days to explore and confirm shore excursions in Muscat. For your ease of reference, links to both the revised itinerary and original schedule are shared below:

For whatever it’s worth, I have had my long-term travel agent who does a lot of work with Silversea check on this issue multiple times over last week or so since this issue first surfaced. So far, they are being told the cruise as originally scheduled is still on as planned, but that if we are not comfortable going to that part of the world, we can transfer our cruise fare to a different future cruise without penalties, and if we decide to stay on as planned we will get $1000 onboard credit. I am told that I should receive a notification from Silversea “soon“ with the details. I hope I do hear from them very soon, because I’ve held off finalizing my air reservations just because of this issue and I canceled a pre-cruise trip out of Aqaba I arranged on my own to Wadi Rum.

How did you get notified of the cancellation of the 1/6 Silversea trip out od Aqaba? I think we are on the same cruise and haven't been notified of a cancellation. The cruise still shows up for sale on their website.

We booked and did our deposit on this Grand Voyage on Friday, too! Our preferred suite booking is usually a V3 on deck 6, forward. Now that's a V1 category, and we were able to move slightly more midship with the new categories. We'll look forward to meeting you, cbachell!
Good to hear from you Sunshineocean13. Hope to meet you in a little under two years! We have several trips scheduled in the interim and hope to enjoy them, assuming they quit getting canceled. While we have lived in Florida most of our lives, my mother lives near you on Whidbey Island. Haven't been able to go visit her in over a year.

We were able to book the South American Circumvention Grand Voyage today, after having previously put down a $400 deposit on it. I was a bit surprised at how expensive it was. Two other luxury cruise lines are offering somewhat similar trips at the same time at materially lower prices, but the Seabourn Quest trip was the only one going to the South Georgia Islands and up the Amazon, two of the primary attractions of this trip to us.

Ooops, posted in wrong place.

A group of 5 of us with LOTS of luggage will arrive at the Copenhagen airport form the U.S. on a Sunday morning at 9:30 am. Our ship has reiterated that we cannot board until 2:00 pm for a 5:00 pm departure from Frihavnen (which I presume is the same as Free Port?). On prior trips in such circumstances (e.g., out of Barcelona and Buenos Aires), we have located a local tour guide who could pick us and our bags up at the airport in a van (we would rather not split up in two cabs) and give us an introductory tour of the area of the area and lunch and drop us off at the ship to timely board (we will spend 2 nights in Copenhagen at a Hotel to still be determined at the end of our trip). Does anyone know of someone we could contact in Copenhagen about such a trip? Any alternative suggestions?
