  1. They don't have a shuttle because they are right across the street. It is recommended that you drop off your luggage FIRST at the terminal. Either leaving someone with the luggage or tip a porter to go ahead and take the luggage ($2 per bag tip is enough) then go and Park and walk over across to the terminal. If you prepay online you usually get a discount.

  2. Every day I check back on the webcam to see if there is any more progress. It seems like they are taking the fuel off this ship with a soda straw. There was a concern at first about how dangerous it was to search for bodies because of the ship shifting and it was being reported that it has indeed shifted some and could continue to do so. I saw they said the removal of fuel could take up to 10 months but it seems like they really need to get a move on. If the ship is in danger of shifting, anything such as a bad storm could cause a major issue like the whole ship could go under, according to that .pif post on what could go wrong. Why aren't they going faster? I realize it could be dangerous with the fuel and all but they need to move on this trying to get the ship to float again and repairing the holes from the collision and the explosion holes they made to search for bodies.

  3. You should always drop your bags first at the terminal that you want to check with the porter. Tipping is recommended. If you have multiple people and other carry on stuff; it is suggested you drop them too at the terminal and have them wait for you. Then go park:

You then enter the "alley" off 25th street, it is a half block (the first right) off 25th next to the railroad tracks. If the cruise is delayed, you will know it. (No ship) They will most likely tell you to come back as soon as the prior cruise passengers have left.

  4. I have used them before in Jan 2010 and we had no problems at all. Paid for a garage space. This is the closest lot to the dock, right across the street so there is no shuttle and you basically walk across the street. I still recommend you drop the big bags at the dock first however. It will show up on many maps as Island Storage corporation. It is beside the train tracks 2514 New Strand St (which is basically an alley) Galveston, TX 77550 The website has a map: http://galvestonparkncruise.com/
