For Covid testing, this is what I got from our hotel in Civitavecchia:
We collaborate with a diagnostic center that is within walking distance.
Here's the link: www.cdbuonarroti.it
The antigen test costs 15 euros, and the result is within an hour or so.
The molecular test (PCR) costs 60 euros and the result is about 10 hours.
No reservation needed.
Opening hours Monday Saturday 07:30am-07:00pm Sunday 10:00am-12:00pm/05:00pm-07:00pm

Check reviews for the tour company on here and TripAdvisor. That will give you an idea on the reliability of the company. Check on Viator for other options as they also have a "back in time" guarantee.

Since there's a lot of activity on Deck 7, did anyone have an issue with noise from the deck above. We're looking at that QM2 sheltered cabin on Deck 6.

Another option is to reserve a shuttle service before you arrive. I've found AirportShuttles, Rideways and ShuttleDirect are good places to start. They may be a bit more expensive than a taxi but the price includes luggage and tip and they will meet you after the luggage claim. You can also reserve a larger vehicle or make a request if you need extra help.

We took a food tour in PV and it was great. It's walking tour in the old part of the city and we hit everything from street food to fancy restaurant and included some of the history. We used Valarta Food Tours. You'd have to take a taxi to the start point and check to make sure the timing works for you. We found our that ship time was different than local time and made it just in time.

I heartily recommend the Vallarta Food Tour. Food was wonderful with everything from street food to fancy restaurants. You eat and see a lot. You just have to take a taxi from the pier. The tour guide helped us get a taxi back.

Try Sonny Binns tours. We did that on our last trip to Aruba and really enjoyed the tour.

do you have any contact info? We'll be there in March
Look for sonnytoursaruba dot com or search for sonny binns tours aruba and it should show up.

If you're looking for a 1 day tour that will give an overview of the island, I can highly recommend the Sonny Binns tour.

Good to know.. Thanks.
We're on the St Paul to St Louis trip starting Aug 23rd and hoping that they don't have any trouble putting the paddlewheel back on. Also hoping that they can make it St Paul and we don't have to be bused for the first leg of our journey. Any word on whether the American Queen can make it to St Paul on this trip?

We are also thinking about doing a John Hall tour this year (2014). I've researched a lot of the companies and I like their itineraries better. Tours are limited to 42 and it looks like you get more personalized service. They aren't cheap but it looks like you get more value for the money.
Agree that I'd like to hear from someone that has actually been on the tour.

We did the cruise from Budapest to Bucharest with Gate1 last year and loved it.
