How much smaller? We booked 7135 whap around balcony PH1 for a 14 day cruise. I saw a video of the Riviera one and the closet looks more than adequate for me a very overpacking kind of person. Just wish there were 2 sinks in the bathroom.

We had 7135 on Riviera a couple of years ago. We also have had other PH suites on Riviera and the difference in interior size is not that different.

A creperie, wow that would be nice. Would like to see it on the Vista as well. Now without Jaques, there is nowhere to get crepes.

Hey, maybe they could make them at the bakery.

No, please not “the bakery doesn’t make anything special” discussion again…

As they are on all ships beside baristas, so why the need for the bakery? Unless of course it had something different to offer.

The Bakery offers something different… As mentioned before.

same stuff as in terrace buffet...at breakfast...guess if you like it , you can now get it at two places...

Yes, I like that The bakery offers unique and perfectly executed French pastries like Cannelés, Eclairs, Brioche, Chouquette and Madeleines.

  5. Ember is nice, not finest cuisine at sea and certainly not a culinary gem. I prefer French cuisine others like another casual dining option. Waves, Pizza, Terrace Cafe and now also Ember.

They are sent to North American passengers automatically. Other locations need to either get them at the pier or make their own.

Apparently to expensive for O to send to other guests.

  7. We always loved Jacques. Ember not so much. The decor looks great, acoustics very bad, service rushed, menu simple compared to Jacques and we found the execution and quality of the dishes mediocre at best. It’s okay but not culinary.  Wouldn’t say it’s THE FINEST CUISINE AT SEA®.

There is a technical term for the difference between being right and proving it: "lawyers' fees".

Pay the fee to the man who helped to create Oceania’s finest cuisine at sea and keep the name as a tribute to him and all he has done.

O really couldn't design Vista with a French restaurant:  A "Jacques" even back when M. Pépin was only 85 was too likely to be ...overly optimistic, and a French restaurant not named for him on an Oceania ship would be gauche.

So because Jacques Pépin has reached a certain age you can’t name a restaurant after him that the other ships already have?

  10. We found Ember enjoyable. The food is okay but very casual and has little to do with The Finest Cuisine At Sea. Vista already has lots of casual restaurants (Terrace, Waves, Pizza) Why add another? Jacques felt more upscale and special.
