We’re flying BA to Athens in October, return Istanbul.
Booked September 2023 we took advantage of an upgrade promotion (at a cost) to Business/club Europe.
We have just received an email from BA advising that they are leasing an Airbus A320 from Danish Airlines for our Athens flights.
Looking at DAT it doesn’t show a business section in their seat plan.
Has anyone flown this arrangement with BA?
Thanks

My lovely TA provides me with their luggage tags…it’s so much less hassle than trying to get them on at the airport.

Looks much better the right way up 😀

I’ve have 2 cruises with Regent this year and upon noticing a price reduction have notified my agent and the new price has been applied.

This week I booked 2 cruises for 2024… one June and another October.
i immediately booked shore excursions and was very concerned that our June cruise (9 months away) I couldn’t book our first choices
14 days
3 waitlisted
3 wait lists full
Ive never experienced this on our many cruises with Regent
no problem with 2 Regent cruises this year

Hello
We have an upcoming cruise with Oceania having sailed around 8 times with them…..no blue book, no labels, nothing…..
Boarding booked online…
Our travelling companions had the full package (he has cruised Oceania with his wife. Now widowed he has a new partner ….)
Our excellent agent sent us their luggage labels on request.
We have 2 Regent cruises this year. Recent past cruises, no labels….we are gold members…
Putting labels on at the destination airport is a hassle.
Receiving documents in a folder adds to the anticipation of a cruise (I still use Regents drawstring bag (with pockets) onboard 😀

My very nice TA provided luggage tags for us for our upcoming cruise…..happy to advertise them on my luggage.
putting labels on at airports can be a real problem…..

Hello Ketcruiser
unusually Oceania are the only cruise company I know of where we in the Uk can cancel and get a full deposit refund within a given time frame. I believe it is 90 days, just before balance due date.
l’ve recently cancelled an Oceania cruise (booked with Regent instead) and the deposit was back fairly quickly.
My TA arranged this at my request.

You were lucky to get the luggage labels ….we had to get them at the pre-cruise hotel!
It hasn’t put us off Regent but I do miss the luxury of the folders/suede bag.
even though we have a few …..😀

Thanks

On our upcoming cruise we are waitlisted for two excursions (paid ones).
Regent cruises usually put on an extra tour.
Do Saga?
-
Ooooh lovely I shall enjoy it all.
-
Thank you David05 and no sapphire I love a panto so I’ll look forward to that….and all the other events.
-
Has anyone cruised with Saga over Christmas and New Year?
What happens onboard….anything special….Christmas Carol’s, decorations, Santa, Christmas lunch, crackers, mince pies…..??
-
Thank you for your advice. I shall ask my travel agent for a list.
I love Riviera and the laundry “meeting place” (and indeed the needlepoint sesssions) …however I’ve just enjoyed a penthouse on Regent and was looking to replicate the wonderful experience of “everything” been done for me….particularly my husbands shirts!
The itinerary Im booking on Riviera is at a better time of year in the Mediterranean than Regents…
Thanks again

Hello
I’m looking to book PH stateroom on Riviera which offers 3 bags of washing ….however apart from the initial complimentary pressing I’d like to have items pressed or dry cleaned.
does anyone have a price list ?
thank you

My husband is 84 and we have annual travel insurance with a bank ….that’s Nationwide…£13.00 per month…no age limit although you have to pay extra for age…obviously a health disclosure would be required but worth a try.
You would need to open an account but it doesn’t require income or direct debits

I received the same generic email yesterday which looks like following the comments in this post, it has been sent to all booked passengers irrespective of which country you are based. What I personally find frustrating is the email only has links which are only relevant to our American friends. Living in the UK, with a confirmed reservation for April 2022 I was hoping RSSC would offer a personal email informing of their preferred provider and advice in UK for pre embarkation PCR/Antigen. I appreciate things may changed and accept I can pay $99 at the port but at the moment feel RSSC are not offering any assistance to non USA customers.
If it’s any help we also are in the UK and will be on Voyager April 25th and will probably use https://www.expresstest.co.uk/london-heathrow-airport/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvJaYya3z9QIVQ-rtCh1DdgaVEAAYASAAEgLsVfD_BwE#Book
We used them in October and found them ok
It’s the PLF’s I hope will be removed before we sail…

Just returned from Riviera Trieste to Marseille…A2 concierge.
we were offered only 1 time slot…3.00-3.30pm.
I assumed this slot was offered on the flight/transfer time and to allow for pre testing.
It was well organised. The cruise was lovely.
the nightmare was all the PLF’s/BA /uploading /scanning documents and apps….Don’t bother with BA VeriFLY app!
