  1. I think quality of food and ships is very similar. Celebrity suite guests definitely get more perks including a beverage package. We think entertainment on princess is much better, especially the variety in the evening. You may not care, but tv programming on princess is way better. Princess also has first run movies that they show in the theatre in the afternoon but you can then get those movies on your room tv. Not on celebrity. If you watch tv while getting ready or relaxing, get ready for news or the home flipping showson celebrity. 🙄

  2. That's good to know... we have been concerned if we can get regular food in BLU.

We ate in Blu for 14 nites on the Infinity and thought every menu was nice. Never seemed all that healthy to me! Was in a suite on eclipse this year and thought Blu was better than the suite restaurant luminae. We ate in Blu one nite because Luminae's menu was not appealing. Blu was great but on the eclipse, the tables were shoulder to shoulder. Can't help but meet your neighbors! ;)

  3. Returned from our October 8, 2016 cruise and I can report that cabin 767 is a great cabin! Larger than most, in areas of the cabin itself, the great shower, and the balcony. No shower, but a 2.5 ft by 5 ft shower. Motion was moderate the first nite of our 7 nite society island voyage however our friend in a midship cabin also reported moderate motion. Our balcony doors were closed in the evening due to the outside temps which were hot. No noise from either upper or lower decks. When we ate breakfast on balcony, we could hear some noise from lower deck but not excessive. I posted some pictures with my overall ship review on cc but it has not yet been posted. The only area where regular balcony cabins might be better was drawer space. No drawers in this cabin but plenty of shelves. I highly recommend this cabin if you are booking balcony c category!

  4. Just off the Coral 14 day full transit and booked the Sanctuary for the entire cruise. I can't say whether the "rules" are different on the Island but lay-out is same. As noted the pool cannot be accessed from anyplace other than sanctuary and is for use by sanctuary only. The picture posted shows size. There is no room at the pool for chairs.

On the Coral there was no extra charge for "Canal Day" nor was anything extra offered.... no champagne, etc. Reservations were the same as for every other day. Noone on the Coral knew anything about these stories about the Island.

    Hope this helps.

Well, princess has solved everyone's problems, at least on the island princess! New online deck plans show princess has eliminated this sanctuary pool altogether and replaced it with more staterooms. Problem solved from finches mgmt perspective.
