I've been to a few of these meetings. The luncheon on the second day is usually better attended than the evening get together after embarkation.
Always surprises me to see couples attend who are obviously not single nor are they solo. Maybe the free drinks...

Brought up at trial: He continued to enjoy himself even after his traumatic head injury: Stayed on the ship for another 5 months, said suffered from vertigo but still rode elephants, enjoyed ports.
He complained of bright lights but still went to the casino most nights. He drank heavily both before and after the accident as bar staff noted he drank 24 beers a day in his cabin and more at night in the casino.
He filed lawsuits over ten previous times.

Per CNN, Life At Sea Cruises now offers "Cabins [that] run the gamut from 13 square feet..." That's a little less than a 7' x 2' cabin they call their "virtual cabin." I hope this is a typo on CNN's part, or that's just room for a tiny bed!
