I was there 3 weeks on the Celebrity Apex (3000 passenger). We docked at the new dock. There were 2 other ships, Windstar could have been one, and docked. The third was tendering.

Can you please share which single with no obstruction 🤞I am currently looking thru the mechanism on top of the life boats on Apex

yes, thank you.

There is an article in Forbes that is addressing this matter. I can’t figure out how to link it. It is very well explained and conveys the information I attempted to get across in creating this post. Again, my thanks to those who understand the issue.

As of today there has been no change to the pricing policy for charging singles quite a bit more than the price of two guests. I do not understand their reasoning and there has been no further contact from the executive office regarding ostracizing singles. It is extremely frustrating. So now the result is messing up their inventory for cruises. Thanks to all who understood the issue.

Thanks for checking the UK site. That is more inline with the normal pricing. I am trying to access the website while on board and will go to future cruise to see if the issue has been resolved. Thanks to all who understood the issue.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, both pricing were NRD and no perks so I was trying not to put down 2 deposits to possibly lose and mess with the inventory. I was trying to book now due to the cruises having the best pricing since they were just released. It is on a Millennium class ship so single room was not an option.
This is the first time that it was not quoted the same price as if 2 guests were booking. Possibly as more singles try to book it will get their attention and create more conversations with Celebrity.

Under the current sale of 75% off second guest singles are being charged 200%. As an example 2 guests on a sailing may be $5000 total. Changing the number of guests to 1, the total is close to $9000. Traveling as single most of the time I know we do wind up paying for two. But shouldn’t singles be paying the same (minus taxes and port fees) as 2 guests🤔 Does anyone else see the confusion?
Yes, I have asked onboard sales who stated they brought it up to shoreside and the answer was there is no glitch in the system. I have contacted the main office and was told the sale is for double occupancy. So is Celebrity trying to get rid of us singles! -
Since my login was the same for Royal and Celebrity has anyone had to create a new login to access the reservations?

I was on last cruise it was self serve in the buffet. Not enough staff!

While on the Equinox last week I worked with the App person trying to figure out why I was having the same issue as the OP. My June Infinity and Sept Eclipse and many more after have the similar issue. He blamed it on the different ships technology and wifi onboard the EQ. When he went thru a different phone which had a VPN all of my cruises showed correctly. The funniest thing was one of the issues was for a Millie cruise, and it had worked fine in March!
Needless to say, when I returned home I am still having the same issue and I have used 5G and home wifi. I still get the same error message.

At the beginning of the 7 pm and 9 pm shows on Friday Captain Matt announced there were 5 guests positive and 3 crew had tested positive while in Grand Cayman during the weekly testing. Some crew were missing due to contact tracing also.

I am onboard also and a frequent visitor to WCB. My understanding is it is Z’s turn to open the bar and Isaiah starts at 5:30. So if he shows up at at 5:20 he is actually early for his shift!

Since both ships were already out west I’m not sure why they could not have left the Millie alone and moved the Solstice. My thought is Millie can fit thru the Panama Canal and do the Caribbean . So Solstice has to stay off California coast.

There was a Celebrity email recently advising you did not have to change rooms if positive with one day left on the cruise. Does anyone have a link to that to share? I tossed my copy. Thanks

A heads up for anyone who shifted their Infinity cruises due to the repositioning. Celebrity automatically shifted the November 28, 2022 TA from Lisbon to Rio to the TA, same date, Ft Lauderdale to Rio. My travel agent verified all the information by the stated date for the Lift and Shift, and I received updated invoices.
Yesterday I was checking and the TA had disappeared from my Celebrity website bookings and my chosen cabin was showing available. After a number of hours and 5 representatives giving very inaccurate information,(you don't even want to know what they were telling her!) it was discovered that on Celebrity's end someone had cancelled the original TA's without checking if they had been shifted. I am again booked on the TA, Ft Lauderdale to Rio.
Bottom line, check your bookings for the Infinity's that had been rescheduled so you don't have any surprises.

Hi again Cruisestich, I did not get the survey until Monday. My friends (back with you onboard) got it Saturday afternoon.

Thanks for all your posts. See you Saturday! Safe travels

Quarantined thank you for all your information you’ve shared.
My question is, have they give you any further test since the original positive one? I believe you had said you are stuck there until the end of cruise, but it would be nice for you to know if you are on the other side of this!thanks

Ken, would you please pass on to Isabela, Capt Club Host, that my points have been corrected. She worked so hard to fix the issue prior to me disembarking!
enjoy this next leg to your adventure.

While on the Summit, since they restarted, they did offer a bag of laundry to B2B. But that was in October. I would suggest starting a new thread with the subject you are asking about and you may find current cruisers who could have more up to date info.

For those who went to Sky Lagoon, how did you get there from the port? We are doing it on turnaround day.
