I see lots of options, is there a certain company that someone recommends to leave our car at while on 6 day cruise? Thanks

I live in Cocoa Beach. The word here is that Port Canaveral is the top choice for the Vista. Port Canaveral has been dredging the Jetty and for almost 1 1/2 years to accommodate the mega ships.
They are even in the early stages of designing a new port/dock for the ships to maneuver in next to Grill's restaurant. The mega ships will then be able to stop here as a port of call.
Since the Dream is leaving and we are getting the Sunshine and Liberty, it sounds like due to the high number of cruisers here that Carnival has been talking to Port Canaveral about a new ship here.
I cant copy and paste the link but it is under Port Canaveral news if you Google it.

Awesome Review! Congrats to you both. We are excited about the Breeze next September. After reading your review, we booked a spa balcony. We have always had an aft balcony so we are excited.

Hey everyone, after reading all the comments, I have another question. We always use our credit card, but my brother is going on this cruise with us and he doesn't have one. If he uses cash, does he pay at check in when he gets sail and sign card or once on ship at guest services? Thanks!

Great review so far! We have been on the Dream twice and are booked for this September on her again. Your review brings back great memories! Thanks!

That was our cabin number also, 8450 last September on the Liberty. We loved it! Congrats on the marriage. We love reading your reviews!

Am wondering if he was at the Busch Gardens in Williamsburg in the early 90s? I worked there summers during college (like just about every other kid that lived near there) and the name sounds really familiar. I do remember there being a great bird show at that time.
Condolences to his his family.
I'm pretty sure it was the one in Tampa...

Horrible news... He was our first cruise director on the Destiny in 1999 and on the Victory in 2000. His bird show was amazing. He was a bird trainer at Busch Gardens prior to being a cruise director. By far, one of the best ever. He will be missed!

I could be wrong, but I think the property with the Yacht out front belongs to Usher and the yacht cost 5.75 million. We seen that on a tour of the islands....

Hi, I have always read the reviews from other people and have learned alot from them so after 11 cruises, all with Carnival, I thought I would finally write my own. We sailed the week of 9-17-11 to the Western Caribbean. We had an aft extended balcony on the Vista deck, cabin # 9477.
I will give my honest opinion about everything we encountered. If you have questions, please ask. We took alot of pictures so I will try and put them in order with my review.
Alittle about us, we are from Ohio. This was our second time on the Dream. We always cruise in September. It was myself, wife and our 13 year old son. Last year on the Dream, we noticed that the service was possibly beginning to slip, especially in the dining room. I will say on this cruise, everything was fantastic. From our room steward to our head waiter and her assistant. All the bartenders throughout the ship were great. Butch the cruise director and his possible girlfriend/assistant cruise director Amy or as she was also called (6'3) were incredible. This was our third time in a row with Butch as our cruise director and we absolutely love him. Don't know if there is a better one out there. Butch did tell us that Amy and he will be moving to the Carnival Magic out of Galveston in January.
We took over 500 pictures and since they are still downloading to my PC, I will come back tomorrow and start this review. One big item I wanted to bring up early concerning the sewer smell. Last year on the Dream, we smelled it only once at the back of the ship. This cruise we smelled it everyday. It was evident toward the back of the ship as we walked the hallways to our cabin. One night the odor was so bad, people were literally holding their noses getting in and out of the elevators. It was really bad. Didnt stop us from having fun, but the smell is there..... Ok, tomorrow the fun, indepth review with the pictures start..... Have a good night.
