  1. i would like to see her sign and sail card/bartab. That would tell alot. Also was she off the ship in say Cozumel drinking all day? 5 cruises and the last one cheers program and we were never drunk except the day we went to Mr Sanchos AI in Cozumel, alot of people were. Smuggled liquor in the room? Bottles ordered from Bon Voyage? At a bar at home the bartenders have to worry about you driving home. Not so on the ship. Friends could also of got her drinks if she was too drunk.

  2. We were on the Freedom in August and our Balcony room was fine with no noise but the interior across for the kids, they could hear the lobby bar till about midnight. We were maybe 12 rooms away from the elevators. It was fine for the kids as my daughter stayed out late and my son is 21 and if he was in b4 midnight he said he would play on his phone till the music stopped. It was 6319 and 6321.

  3. We are going to Sanchos next cruise, we have been there AI b4 there was no buffet, what choices are there on it? And if anyone has pics of any of there food. We have had the Coconut shrimp and loved it, also loved the grilled shrimp dinner. Was wondering if the shrimp tacos have any onion in them. From what i have seen of them and the fish tacos they look mostly meat. Thanks! Also any info on there horsebackriding would be great! We did the ATVs last time and loved it.

  4. Bro and sister in law made alot more money than us and did not tip one dollar. That was my point in mentioning there professions. And if they are like the rest of the prison guards in the world [which i am sure they are not] then i guess they are are all bad tippers. Some people are like that and put away every penny they make for retirement or someday. Then say they have no money.

  5. On our first cruise many years ago which was a Disney with the kids, they had envelopes you gave to the people on the last night. We gave the amount asked even if it was change. Then my brother and sister in law went on the same vacation, [they were 2 prison guards] and claimed they never knew and did not have any money left. On one cruise i gave a couple dollars each to my favorite staff and i saw one on the next cruise and boy did he remember me!

  6. We went to Junkanoo in August. You can walk directly down Bay street and do the shops and straw market on the way. We stopped at a little liquor store and got some local beers and junkanoo punch for the walk. Just bring your room beach towels or we brought a large one from home for this and other beaches. They do not rent chairs or umbrellas. Do not stop at the beginning of the beach by Fat Tuesdays. That is where the sand might have some glass. We saw very little. We went farther down where the local kids ran and jumped off the pier. And the shacks with food and drinks are amazing. The jerk chicken for $5 is to die for! I did not see any sketchy people at all. This is where i would go if back again!

  7. My husband and i purchased Cheers on the Freedom in August. For a 8 night cruise it was $919.08. i am very cheap believe it or not. This was our 4th Carnival cruise and i have never been still drunk on there drinks. We reached our limit on 2 of the 8 nights only. We would bring a couple beers a day to the room to put on ice [ at least] to drink on the balconey at our leisure. they do add tax on to any drinks you buy also while the ship is still docked! i would go down as soon as the bar opened in the lobby for 2 drinks for us to have while hubby was still getting ready for the day. One wine at dinner $9.50 Ecco domani [prob spelled wrong] . I have always limited ourselves on the ship because of the high cost of drinks, we treated ourselves. Some days we only got 8 drinks. If we reached the 15 limit i figured we saved $80 each that day. Other days sometimes $20 each. Would do again in a heartbeat. We only cruise once a year not 5 like some and you have to have fun and enjoy yourself. i also priced all inclusives and with the cheers the cruise is about the same exact price!

  8. We went last cruise first night, free bottle of wine and the dining room was empty. Food was good. We paid $70 for 2. Next cruise i will trey the chefs table instead. Thought the little burger and teaspoon of soup were great but crazy sized. And the steak i got was just good. Dessert was good and they will let u take your wine or dessert back to the room.

  9. my son was 18 last cruise [2010] and i was worried but he found a girlfriend the first day and hung out the whole trip. They posed for all the pictures, and even bought one. Went to all the shows. Did a scavenger hunt. One dinner we let him skip with us and they went to the buffet together. They talked for awhile after the cruise. Not to say this will happen our next cruise but if not he will be fine.but 2 carnival cruises 2 VGF's vacation girl friends.
