  1. When is the departure date for your cruise?

Princess used to lenient regarding the final payment date but I have been told by several TA's that if payment is not made by the due date that Princess now cancels the cruise. Two TA's I have recently worked with give that as the reason for asking for final payment about a week before the final payment due date. The final payment date has always 75 days before departure for our cruises of 14 days or less.

    Departure date is October 10

  2. If anybody is on Celebrity cruise on October 21, 2016 out of Istanbul and interested in any of the two tours: Jerusalem/Yad Vashem tour on the 27th or JewishGalilee tour on the 26th from Haifa, please contact Leo by submitting a request from Guided Tours Israel website http://www.guidedtoursisrael.com/ or email Leo at info@GuidedToursIsrael.com. Both these tours are waiting for minimum (6 people), they are both $99 per person if we reach minimum. You can find a full description of the tours on their website.

  3. I am in AQ class, when I was booking my cruise I was told that if I want to go to MDR some nigts, I need to select Select for MDR and pre-pay gratuity, which I did - anyway you pay your gratuity before or on the ship (same amount), I am assuming since I have Select Dining I can show up at MDR at anytime.

  4. I was told that you could just show up- spoke with the concierge and with the person in charge of the "beach hut". They also accept the Resort For a Day passes that are $45 vs their price of $75.

$75 is for 2 chairs and umbrella, not per person.

  5. Hello everyone! I'm looking into booking Celebrity Summit on August 30 of this year (yes, less than two months, that's how we do it in my house) for my parents after my grandma and I went to Bermuda, now they want to go. As of now, through the travel service of a club we belong to, they will get about $340 OBC for a $2200 ocean view guarantee, or about $400 OBC for a $2400 balcony guarantee. The OBC should pay for gratuities and $100-200 extra for whatever they want basically, which we never have. I've been seeing lots of posts about new pricing, and I know the sale ends today, so I'm wondering if Celebrity has a policy of canceling within 24 hours with no penalty if I find a better price tomorrow, or if the general internet knows for a fact that prices are better today. Thanks in advance, and I apologize if this has been answered, I'm not too sure how Celebrity does things compared to Carnival or Royal Caribbean.

Celebrity line has within 24 hours free cancelation policy, they refund money if the reservation has been cancelled within 24 hours - but this refund will be posted to your account in portions and for last $500 will take some tome to get it. I've cancelled mine within 24 hours and still waiting for $500 refund - booked on 6/24, then cancelled on 6/25 (cancelled due to changing TA's - initial one has booked a wrong cabin for me, next day prices went up, due to lock of the communication I just wanted to have a TA who's customer service would able to help me and not just stick to one Agent).

  6. This is confusing. Why didn't your TA get you the 123GO and OBC from the get go? Try doing a fake booking on the Celebrity site and see what you come up with for the same cabin type.

Actually, I tried to do a fake booking at the same time TA was on the phone with Celebrity, the cabin ithat I booked in category XA was last one and I could not double check. Celebrity are saying that 123go + OBC rates are higher than 123go only. Also, if I'd not want to take beverage package fir 123go, my rate would be almost $500 less. Now I am just thinking that for $500 both of us could have a few premium drinks instead of drinks we will get using our classic package with 123go. So, everything is balanced, you are not getting anything for free.

  7. We also sailed on the 6/14 cruise and were also Aqua Class in Room 9112.

We stayed the night before in Parsippany and it was a quick shot to the port. Parking was a breeze. Great attendant who told us specifically not to park to close the next car so we didn't get his by someone not paying attention to their door. Bags dropped and registered by 10:00 and on the ship by 10:45. First pina colada in hand by 11:00. We decided on the buffet since the boat was still pretty empty by the time we wandered through there. Went to the spa and hubby worked out there daily. Loved it and particularly the sauna in the men's changing room there.

Got to our room and it was great. Perfect location and would stay in it again in a minute. Quiet and in the perfect location. Also in case anyone wonders it did have a pull out couch.

Blu was really good but have to say was really slow on alot of evenings. I don't mind have a leisurely dinner but people were actually leaving before dessert because they didn't want to wait any longer. We only did breakfast on two days for this reason.

We loved the coffee shop and went there daily for coffee and dessert. Everything we ordered was covered in the classic package.

The casino was great and the bartenders there were awesome.

The shows were okay. I went every night. The comedian from the first night was great and even better on the night it was just him. Sirens was awful and if I had been in a easier place to slip out I would have. iMagic was good too.

Disembarkation was quick and even though we bought 8 bottles we were not charged at customs. Bonus!

Any other questions I can answer, please feel free to ask.

Could you please put more details what it is included in the classic package and at what bars it can be used?
