We will be sailing on the Celebrity Equinox in July - our first time on a Celebrity cruise.  We are a party of nine.  Anyone know if the main dining room tables can accommodate a party of nine?

Can any of the specialty restaurants accommodate a group of that size?

Very helpful!  We are new to Celebrity.  We have the classic package as part of our booking.  If we upgrade to premium, do we just pay the difference per day?  That seems logical (to me).  

You can book two shore excursions in a port with the ship but you will need to be back 30 minutes from the first one before you can pre-book one for the second. Princess requires 30 minutes between booking excursions.

We will be in Antigua from 8 - 5 p.m. during our Caribbean cruise next fall. Hubby and I are debating between two ship excursions (Caribbean Princess). Anyone know if we might be able to squeeze in both tours since we are in port a full day? Each tour is 3 hours long.

Booked Tour with Emmanuel Tours. Went on 3/10/17 Check their website. The Tour included Harrison's Cave a Barbeque lunch and Mount Gay Rum Factory and all entrance fees. It wasn't booked as a private tour, but ended up with just us four. Check out my review on Barbados thread. I highly recommend Emmanuel Tours. *****

Is it a reasonable walk from the ship into the town of Fort de France? Thinking of using Martinique as a "no tour" "no beach" day.

Thank you all for the quick responses. Neither one of us adores flying, so we did not want to be on a small propeller plane! Looking forward to Qantas now that we know they serve complimentary beer and wine! This is going to be an exciting trip. Too bad we have to wait until 2018!

We are looking at a 2018 Princess Cruise to Australia & New Zealand. If we add on the Australian landtour, there are several flights scheduled within Australia. Anyone know what type of plane Princess uses?

We are just beginning to research a Mississippi River cruise and looking at these two companies. Anyone have experience with both? I find a lot of reviews about the American Queen Steamboat Company (mostly favorable), but not much on Cruise Critic about the American Cruise Line.

We will be on the Maasdam in September. We would like to do Quebec City on our own. How far is it from the port into the heart of the city? Ease of public transportation?
