I don’t get the blood donor thing.  The Covid shot goes into the muscle area not a vein

I'm talking about a drug interaction between the blood of a person vaccinated with pfizer vs moderns vs Johnson & Johnson as they all are different types of vaccines. Yes, you get a shot into your muscle but the vaccine goes into your blood stream. - it doesn't stay in your muscle. Even Dr couldn't say for sure, so just wondering.

Currently there are 3 categories  of vaccines, only 2 in the US though.  The 4 categories are whole virus, protein subunit, viral vector and nucleic acid.  Pfizer and Moderna are the 4th type.  As I said in another thread, the odds of anyone being allergic to all of those is basically the same as winning the lottery while being struck by lightning while getting a hole in one on a par 5 all at the same time.

And the US is nowhere near herd immunity.  That would require 70%-90% of the entire population to have either had the virus and/or vaccinated.

Scary. How do you know which part of the vaccine you are allergic to. Also, what about the red cross and needing blood. Do you have to receive blood from donors who've had the same vaccine? Just a thought I'm curious about. Keep track of vaccine date vial number and type received.

  3. Labadee is a great beach day. Also have a zipline!

St Thomas I'd take a catamaran to St John, an adventure, relaxing, and snorkeling.

St Maarten since hurricane is a great port to do an island tour to see the damage and rebuilding process, stop at Maho beach and see planes. Many beaches to go to and could also parasail?

  4. We will be in Grand Cayman on Feb. 5 and looking for a relaxing catamaran ride. Would like to stop & see stingrays since a couple in our group haven't seen them before and maybe starfish point and stop to snorkel at the reef. There will be 8 in our group and looking for suggestions. TIA

  5. Thank you very much. We booked Karambole tour, but still are researching

Karambole tours was awesome. Christelle is very knowledgable about the history and culture of the island. She also has the most fabulous "tastings" of the island along the way!!

  6. We took the tour with Christelle of Karambole Tours! She is fantastic. Fluent in french and english. You see many parts of the island, learn the history of it and get a wonderful sampling of homemade foods and drinks! You will not be disappointed.

  7. Looking for suggestions for an island tour. We would like to see the agricultural areas that grow spices and purchase some. We would also like to see the chocolate factory :). Any suggestions as to who would give a good island tour that included these areas along with the beautiful natural sights of the island. TIA

  8. We will be in St Thomas on a cruise ship and have been there multiple times, also been to St John and feel we'd like to explore more there. We would like a basic tour of St John, being in a group of 12. There are about 4 places that we are sure we want to see. The question is the most efficient way to accomplish this! Is there a tour company from St Thomas that goes to St John? Not a problem for us to take a taxi to Red Hook and Ferry to cruz bay but then what? Would most taxis accommodate 12?, and if so is there a way to contact before hand and have a tour decided before we go? Other option is to talk to taxis once there and wing it..(fine for me but iffy for 12) TIA

  9. We have done the island tour with Javin..Fantastic! He posts pics on shutterfly of your stops. A good mix of out of the way areas. Hike some in rainforest, Snorkel, see black volcanic 5ocks and lookout point. Also have taken the catamaran from St Kitts to Nevis. ****ten bay snorkel, picnic lunch on nevis and open bar. I would highly recommend both
