For anyone on board can you please post who the Hotel Manager and Food and Beverage officers are, thank you. We were on in November and hope the same people will be on whe we get on again March 17th/ thank you!

We got the notice regarding the change to the macadamia nut farm but nothing on our emergency notice cancelling the National park. Our tour is titled "Ultimate Hilo; Hawaii Volcanoes National Park & Tastes of Hawaii. We did this excursion a number of years ago and wanted to do it again, we shall see.

Wonderful news. Now hopefully Princess will follow suit on ALL cruises, even Enhanced Cruises.

We are on the Regal and going over to the Sky Princess immediately when our cruise here is done. We were given a form to sign up for the testing at the dock prior to getting on the Sky. For us it is supposed to be green bt when registering on the GoMed form we got to the point when the asked for a credit card ($100 per person). We went to to the Circle Cruise person and they are trying to find out what we need to do. Gee I you would  think they would have sorted this out for transferring passengers. Oh well t will get done and they have until the 22nd to take care of it. Personally we think for those “hopping” over to another cruise on the same day it should be done on the current ship.

Does anyone on board have the cut off number for most traveled passenger?

Yesterday I was told by our PVP that the CDC will not allow B2B because passengers would need to be tested between each cruise. Our February 2021 was cancelled. 

I also did this on the Ruby in November and twice on the Crown Princess transatlantic. I agree with you that it is a great experience.

When we were on the Crown in December the life jackets were not required.

Can you tell me if life preservers were needed for the muster drill. I have read that on some ships that you are not required to have to drag them along with you anymore. Enjoying your blog as I will be on the Crown April 3.

Yes, Caribe are the larger balconies.

We have been through the Canal 3 x’. Twice through the old Canal on Island and Coral and most recently the Caribbean Princess. I would suggest going on the Caribbean Princess and signing up for the excursion that takes you off the Caribbean Princess and you go on a small boat that takes you to the Pacific side and then back through the old locks. It was one of the best excursions we have ever done and we have sailed on Princess over 40 times. Read the book Path Between the Seas by McCullough prior to going.

I usually trade for Nobilo as it has a screw top and I don’t have to worry about having a cork screw.

How would this affect cruise lines? No Princess ships embark or disembark from these islands?

It might say that things on the Islands will not be up and running whether you are just going to a resort or trying to see the Islands and doing excursions. Just gave the info, take it for what it is.

i just received an email from United. Our daughter was going on her honeymoon in January. The United message said that they will not be flying into St. Thomas or St. Maarten until after April 8th. All of their flights are cancelled until then. Obviously they feel that People will not be able to go there until then and I would think this should effect Cruises there.

And I was going to complain about paying double when cruising SOLO and not getting the extra internet minutes, or a double bar set up in the cabin as an Elite. Now that would be a great topic!

We have Global Entry cards and that worked and did not have to download the other app.

We have ordered in advance and had the cab stop and wait while my DH goes and picks up the order and I stay in the cab with our luggage.

I am Elite and when looking at the benefits I am not seeing how many minutes you get with the days you are cruising. Has this recently been taken away? I know there is a thread for unlimited minutes but that is not what I am looking for. Thanks!

We were on the Pacific Princess for her last cruise in Alaska a few years ago and absolutely loved her. We have booked a Transatlantic for Dec. 2018 but might check out the cruise you mentioned.

I did a cruise in October and November and requested distilled water for my machine. It was not in the cabin when I got there but our room steward brought it along with a heavy duty extension cord. We were on the Royal class ships and there was a plug by the desk as well as up by the TV. I put the cord under the bed leading up to the TV plug and had no trouble worrying about tripping over it.
